Alison grew up in the same small town that I did. She sang and played as a teen in a band during the same years my own dad had a band in the area. She could melt a heart even at that young age. I love her soft, seemingly effortless, tender voice, a voice easily recognizable among all other female vocalists. I could listen to her all day every day. Thank you, small town girl.
