  • Thank you for not doing the diddly eye music on an Irish course. A refreshing change...and I do like the tricolur shot tracers
  • @samzy1010
My Great Uncle was a member here for over 50 years. I was fortunate enough to play 9 holes with him in his final years. It’s a memory I’ll cherish forever. When he past I went with my mum to collect his stuff, the club were wonderful and hosted us for lunch and chatted about our memories of him. Glad you enjoyed it and really happy to see it again for the full 18! Special place!
  • Got to say guys, the quality of the production/editing is outstanding, great job
  • @rpeplin
Peter really has the most entertaining banter of all the YouTube high level golfers. Very engaging for the viewer, charm and humor just rolling through the screen.
  • The editing boys need a raise - best in the game! I'm really enjoying all the small details!

From Seattle I got the chance to play this track with my dad who has stage 4 cancer and my brother last week and I couldn’t agree more. Special memories for my favorite in the world as well! Great vid!
  • That 4 iron into the 15th was one of the best flighted pure irons I have seen in a long time. Sublime, we will ignore the putt of course😅. Great play with a dodgy back mate. 🤘🖤

A most enjoyable video. Played very nicely and just no luck on the greens. Give me Peter Finch any day. A nice man. No BS talk or other laddish nonsense so common with others on YouTube. I have played Portmarnock many times over the years and it certainly looks in gorgeous condition and a great test of golf. Well done! Looking forward to the next one.

I don't usually comment on Youtube videos but man oh man! What a wonderful production by Team Peter Finch. The camera work, music, editing and of course the golf and talk from Mr. Peter Finch was absolutely top class. This course is bloody gorgeous, and through the video I seemingly felt every emotion that Peter went through, including the back pain 😃. You guys are doing brilliant work and I look forward to every new video!

My father is a member in Portmarnock, so I have the pleasure of being able to play it quite a bit. Hands down the best course Ive ever played.
  • @Mullan84
Nice to see the green keeper having a wee on the 12th hole flyover 😂
  • @RyanTriesGolf
I'm not a huge fan of links golf courses but this is one that I would absolutely love to play! Also that 4 iron shot on the 15th hole was just pure class! All of those lipouts and edge burners had me on the edge of my seat the whole round! Well done Sir!
  • @Skeeta56
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL COURSE!!! Thanks for showing it off to us Old Gents in North Carolina . . . Enjoyed the hour with you and your crew!!! The Irish Tracers were spot on!
  • @berniebond
This Irish tracer is gorgeous! As is the golf course obviously. Had the pleasure of playing the neighbourly The Island GC, the European and Seapoint. I love the Links! Sadly landlocked here in Austria 🙂
  • @mchammer1982
You played a great round mate. In that wind off the back tees that course is a beast. Will be hosting the open in the comings years. Its a proper proper test
  • @markkelly9135
One of my favourite courses, all three nines are great. What I love about the championship 18 is that a good shot is always rewarded but you'll almost always be given a chance to recover from an errant ball (unless you hit it off the planet!), unlike so many other similar stature links courses which are far too penal offline. Another great video!
  • @Reffitt2
Fantastic video as usual, Pete & Co! Golf is truly such a crazy game of mere inches. If those putts just start lipping in or moving a little bit in your favor, that's the difference in shooting one or two under, and four or five over. It's so tough to play in 30+ mph gusty winds. It truly does affect everything from tee to putting on the green, and often a lot more than people realize.

As a Dub myself, I am lucky enough to play here, I just wanted to say thank you for covering the east coast of our country. Don't get me wrong, the west is the crown of the jewel, but over time and with foreigners, especially the east coast doesn't get the rep it should also get. I am still gutted to miss seeing you at my club, Tulfarris, last year! Hopefully, next time you're out this way, I'll get yourself to The Island, Royal Dublin. Maybe even Howth or Corballis for a quirkier experience.
  • @Pgdgolfer
Great course. The real Portmarnock… lucky to play it a few times and never disappoints.
