i love how fusion calls a giraffe a damn zebra

Fun fact Zoochosis is a thing where animals do stuff on repeat and hurt themselves and turn their vomit into stuff to eat and the creators of zoochosis saw this and was like "what if it was a body horror game"

This game definitely has "Improvise Adapt Overcome" vibes. Basically, you're forced to make the best of what you have. Something tells me this zombie virus or alien shape shifter or skinwalker situation happens to you on the fly on your first night, and now you have to improvise a way to take on these creatures as well as improvising caring for them. So like, while that cutting machine is likely used to cut up rations for the animals, it could also end up being what you use to dispose of animals that are too far gone, either to investigate the meat or to feed the off meat to the infected but not turned animals. But then, of course, it also looks like the process has room to improve, so it's not like this is a tried and true process for taking care of monster animals, since the player accidentally releases one of those parasites while cutting meat for processing/studying, so the gameplay is likely one of the three: A) The virus changing every night to be a constantly changing threat B) The character knowing nothing about the virus, and so they have to experiment and learn more about it every night C) A mixture of the two, possibly because each animal's virus acts different, like maybe the parasites of penguins are more active and can escape their hosts while the gorillas show little change until they attack you, leading to the heat camera being vital to see which animal has the parasite, etc.

As a zookeeper myself I am very excited for this game to come out, will definitley be watching your playthrough as soon as it comes out!

Y'know, never knew zebras could have such lengthy necks-

So this game is basically, “The Thing”, except it takes place in a zoo. At least the monsters and parasite reminds of the movie. But other than that, the monsters look horrifying! I’m excited for this game to come out.

One thing I found kinda funny is that in the description it mentions how you’re supposed to find a way to cure the infected animals. Like how are they gonna go back to normal after going through those crazy mutations?

Fun ract, if you read the description of the trailer, you would know the animals are infected with a parasite, and its impossible to tell which is which untill its too late

This game looks truly terrifying. Sometimes what makes a game scary is not some made up demon shadow-creature, but something tied to a real instance/idea from the real world, made twisted. Mutant infected animals? Spooky!

This kinda reminds me of a horror movie called zoombies, that is about when a strange virus quickly spreads through a safari park and turns all the zoo animals undead, those left in the park must stop the creatures before they escape and zombify the whole city.

I'm not even 20 seconds into the video and I'm already flabbergasted by that Girrafe turning into the horror of my nightmares...Bro I've seen some scary shit but if I played a game and saw this happening I'm straight up closing it and unistalling

Finally some one who is covering this. This is my most anticipated horror game of the year. Finally something that actually unnerves me.
