If they're going to put makeup in the calendar, I would have expected something like Chanel or Dior. I would be murderous to spend this kind of money on a calendar and get a trashy Kylie Cosmetics item.

Mascara and pencils (lip, eye, brow) should always be full size. Those are usually the cheapest items

Not helpful now, but the little baggies are useful for storing Christmas tree ornaments. The calendar box is good for keeping them in too! (That actually might be useful!)

For a $1350 value, I would like a piece of jewelry for day 24. I would like a surprise big gift in calendars like this. Wouldn't it be nice and leave all with a positive experience to have a $200 bracelet or pair of earrings on Christmas eve? While I like the color of Charlotte Tilbury's Pillow Talk, they are reaching and grasping every ounce of popularity of the shade when they use the name for their mascara.

I worked for Harrods the past year, and got training on Sunday Riley - apparently, the reason the glass bottle is so light is because the type of Vit C used in their CEO line (the vit c line) is formulated to be inactive until applied to the skin, in contrast to other brands (they meant the ordinary lol) that use active vit C, which deteriorates quicker. They did say you were able to not have to keep the glass bottle in a dark place, and that it wouldn’t deteriorate from sun exposure … But I would take this with a pinch of salt, as I was also told that they didn’t use any fragrance in the CEO line, but that the products had a natural orange scent from the formulation … what this ACTUALLY means is that it contains citrus oils (which is still a fragrance and can lead to sensitivity and irritation) but they got around listing it as a fragranced product by saying that the citrus oils were in their for skincare effects and not as fragrance So just something to be aware of ! Also the vit c oil is intended to be used after cleaning and before serums, to allow it to penetrate deeper to the skin (contrary to most oils which as to be used as a last step or last before sunscreen) All of their active oils are to be used like this (CEO oil, Luna oil and UFO oil) but not Juno oil, which is a antioxidant hydrating oil, which is to be used as the pat or before last product x

I felt that part about the baggies. Do I use all the teeny boxes and bags I’ve saved over the years? NO! Do I continue to collect them? HECK YES. One day…maybe…possibly…there will be an opportunity where someone will need a teeeeeeny box or cute baggie, and we will be there.
