Indian audience never likes classy and subtle content. They want Kabir Singh, Baaghi 3 etc. Similarly october was not a hit as well. Then why people complain that varun and siddharth can't act or do poor content its just because it works. Marjaavan collected more than this film, street dancer earned more than october. Its not about actors, its about the audience.

Pari removing all the baggages she was carrying is a symbol of both emotional and mental load she had, and to reach to him she herself got rid of them all. Hence both removing from their toxicity/overload bags to form something purely out of love.

I don't know why this didn't became blockbuster. This was such a beautiful love story with great characters

This movie reverses gender stereotypes in so many ways: - The heroine protects the hero in the swinging chair - The heroine drinks alcohol while the hero doesn't - The heroine asks the hero to elope instead of the other way around - The hero is the 'runaway bride' instead of the heroine - The heroine is a stronger lead with a better profession (more knowledge on chemistry) than the hero - The heroine fixes the car when it breaks down, not the hero - The hero is more family oriented while the heroine is more career oriented - The heroine is more impulsive than the hero - The hero asks for money as a loan from the heroine's family - The hero is soft-spoken and gentle while the heroine is bold and easily takes up challenges - The hero wears pink and heroine wears blue especially in the song Ishq Bulaava (someone commented on this here) So beautifully encapsulated

I still find myself crying when I hear the songs from this movie. Even though I have a beautiful life now, it takes me back to my innocent teenage life where life used to be adventurous and filled with daydreams, curiosity and romance. A masterpiece once and forever! I repeat...Forever!!

The trio (zehnaseeb, Ishq bulava and manchala) became the most imp part of my life... listening them to every single day without getting bored n manchala been my caller tune since jio started free caller tune... Love the whole film and the songs...

Why is no one appreciating how well written the character of Karishma is.... She literally lets go of the man she was in love with for 7 years as soon as she came to know that he would be better off with someone else other than herself..... She used to push him away at times as she used to believe that he deserved someone better than her....

This movie is criminally underrated. It's one of those movies which can make u smile with tears in your eyes. O my God pari was so good and so was Siddharth also Adha played her part with perfection. Thought it recovered it's budget but then too it deserved more. Good story, on point direction, amazing performances and a great album.

Parineeti nailed it by the way she cried. So touching. For all who have loved and lost. 😥

The day I watched this movie, I instantly fell in love with the whole idea of it ( Still on my re-watch list everytime). Songs are top notch. Ishq Bulava being my one of absolute favorites. Slow, Real, Pure and Romantic Love stories are rare these days, even in movies. ✨

Plot: a guy falls in love with his girlfriend's sister. Which is very inappropriate. But when you watch the movie you develop a whole new perspective. Sometimes very unexpected things happen in life. And the movie totally justifies it. One of my favorites

Watched this movie for the first time after 8years of its release. I didn't have a clue about it, completely alien, saw the IMDb rating and decided to watch. One of the best decisions. What a movie man, I read a comment saying "this is one of those movies which will make you smile with tears in your eyes". That's facts. There were so many points in the film which just gives you a warm hug, makes you smile from the heart.. it's just mesmerizing 💯 After some digging I came to know this is actually an underrated movie with comparatively less number of admirers... that's another kind of satisfaction 🤌 The story, the characters, Parineeti and Sid performances, screenplay 🤌🤌
