These legends are swapping stories in the afterlife now. Rest in peace to two of the greatest in baseball history.
  • Scully was like a little boy. How special a moment. 2 legends. Rest in baseball paradise to the both of those gentlemen.

How can this not give you serious chills? Incredible
  • Willie has always been my favorite all-time MLB player. Vin Scully introduced himself to Willie and you hear Willie laugh and say "I know who you are," and of course he did. Such class from both of them! Two true hall of famers.

RIP, and God Bless both of these huge icons of my youth. Both were the absolute best at what they did.

What amazes me more is that both of them started out in New York and then moved to California. Living Relics of old New York baseball as of 2017.

When Vin Scully calls you his favorite player, that is High Praise.
  • Sadely these two legends are no longer with us but they live on in our hearts forever and they will never be forgotten they are in heaven talking again Rest in Heaven to both legends .

God Bless them both!! Willie Mays was part of the greatest outfield ever assembled for All Star games during the 1960's: Willie Mays, Henry Aaron and Roberto Clemente.

Willie will be 93 this coming May 6. In 1973 My Dad took me to a Mets Game on May 6 and before the game the organist Jane Jarvis played Happy Birthday and the entire crowd sang along for Willie’s Birthday. Vin Scully and Willie Mays are true Baseball Royalty. Watching this is pure joy!
  • The greatest broadcaster and arguably the greatest ballplayer. Say Hey!
  • @TheSmarq17
Wow! What a great moment captured forever. I hate the Giants with white-hot passion, but WIllie Mays will always be the greatest baseball player. Put him next to Vin and the total greatness in this vid is blinding. I hope the Smithsonian sees this so it will be saved for everyone in the future to relish. Thank you so much for posting this.
