  • Alito is the worst of the worst. He has complete contempt for America and rule of law.
  • @ChrisWestin
Why would he be enraged if there was nothing to hide?
  • @penguinista
If they are friends, then why didn't Alito recuse himself in the cases the billionaire later had before the court? If they are not friends, then why did he accept the free plane ride and vacation?
  • @conniemazas
What a complete insult to judges who serve this country in the lower districts. Knowing that the highest serving judge in the country is nothing more than sold to the highest bidder.
  • @midknight
Fact: if a liberal judge took even a single favor from a liberal billionaire, Republicans would be marching in the streets demanding a resignation
  • This is a perfect example of one of the things journalists are supposed to do: expose corruption in our political institutions. Alito can play the victim all he wants, but the media did their job here.
  • @HKim0072
Look under your seats right wing Justices. You get a billionaire sugar daddy. Everyone gets a billionaire sugar daddy.
  • @Kevin-hy8ok
I’m guessing there’s a lot more of this unethical behavior from Alito and Thomas we have yet to hear about. But we will.
  • @darvey3
Alito would never accept that weak and pathetic excuses about his big trip from anyone else....I have heard similar pathetic excuses in court by criminals....
  • @JusticeAlways
Thankful that ProPublica is doing this kind of work. 🇺🇸👍
  • What I don't understand is, if SCOTUS does not think Congress can regulate them, why doesn't Congress regulate the people trying to influence SCOTUS by making it a crime to give gifts to SCOTUS judges without declaration? If you offer a SCOTUS justice so much as a coffee without charging fair value, you should declare it anytime you are involved in a case that comes before SCOTUS or you go to jail.
  • Alitto and Thomas are 2 of the most arrogant, bitter, and angry men in history.
  • @dr.g3860
Alito turns out to be not just corrupt, but also petty.
  • @spitrock33
The ethics of the Supreme Court is a picture of the workings of the Old Kings and Justice.
  • @Nagroddy
How would you like to have a guaranteed job for life with great pay and full health, full pension and other federal benefits? Having no term limits is only one of several factors that encourages corruption.
  • The Supreme Court should be scrutinized. Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Do members of scotus even have a conscience these days?!?
