Is this cheating? AI is insane!

You can't code? Can't write? Can't draw? Then it's impossible to make a visual novel – or is it?
We'll explain how to use AI to make visual novels. In two hours you can get your first small visual novel running!
Here's a link to the visual novel that I made with this method in 2 hours:

(There are obviously things missing, e.g. a nice title screen... but I didn't want to cheat. ;)
And here you can play some fun visual novels in which a lot more work went into. (Each one took around a year to make.)

I really hope one day soon you can create visual novels with AI. The number of real VNs I've played in my life is too few, and it's hard to enjoy it in a foreigner community, sigh. I wonder what kind of masterpieces people can create. I'll make sure to check your links

I don't mind using AI. It's cool. I had trouble creating consistent sprites and CGs before, but I'm planning to use AI in my future works too. So thank you for the tutorials :)

yes its cheating- cheating yourself out of the skill and experience and quality you would gain if you just made it yourself

Just a small disclaimer for you guys, you can do this for yourselves, but you can not sell it. If you do, you will be in legal trouble with the law. If you wanna know why, its because you don't own the right's to anything generated with AI. And this is enforced on steam as well, if you are caught using Ai in your games you are in for a legal trouble ride or a straight steam account ban.

AI art uses real art made by actually talented people "fed" into this massive algorithm, ultimately taking away all the credit from real artists. Making an entire game using AI generated images is horrible and should not be encouraged, as this could take away attention from handcrafted games made by real designers/writers/coders. This all kind of sounds like a get-rich-quick scheme, and it's really shitty to promote these methods. If you want to make a VN or a game using anime-inspired artwork, it's much easier to HIRE real artists/coders/writers/etc. to help you with your game! You can even crowdfund your game in order to get money to do so, like a lot of developers have done before. Please stop promoting AI.

So AI writes your story, AI does your "art", AI writes your code, AI does your music... what are YOU actually contributing? What is the point of creating this when you, yourself, are not actually creating anything. Aren't games supposed to be a creative medium? I'm not completely against using AI, but when it does most of the heavy lifting in your project... Also, maybe want to get your AI image generation knowledge up to date; AI does not learn like a human artist, that is a comforting lie people latch onto to justify using image generators without feeling any guilt. Nothing it creates is completely new or unique because it NEEDS actual images to "reproduce" anything - and you can't be sure how much it is using the source image in its image generation... which could lead you to getting copyright infringement claims. So please, for your own sake do some more research on how the technology actually works instead of parroting the comforting lies/misinformation spread around by those who have most to gain and least to lose by using this technology.
