"They said I can be anything... So i became a flashdrive."

All that cerebral power and she still went at Thanos with a gun, wasted.

This film, movie, whatever you would like to call it, is way beyond the scope of talent. It's thought provoking, and at the same time, Im sure we can all agree that these actors did tremendous job!

The thing I like best about Lucy : the answers are meaningless. Even in the final scenes when they ask, "Where is she?" None of it matters. We are all bounded by the same confined universe. Who cares where she is? Lucy witnessed time from the beginning and came to the same realization : We're all stuck.

Best part is the revelation that she can be seen while scanning through time, but New Yorkers ignore the lady sitting in an office chair in the middle of the street... which is probably the most realistic scene in the movie

When you accidentally take 3 instead of the recommended 2 gummy vitamins.

The concept is " we use 10% of our sub conscious brain power ". You can literally imagine anything and make it workout here. Lucy is incredible visual feast đź’›

Obviously this movie is hypothetical but that’s what I love about it. Films like these that leave you with endless curiosity and a spiral of emotion. I didn’t know what to feel or think when watching this.

she probably just has a really good gaming chair

A visual representation of what it feels like to chew 5 gum.

Only the Indians were one with nature, so they could see her. The scene when she's trying to teach the first Lucy to trust through the touch of their index fingers always gets right to my heart. It's so emotional.

That face when you plug in the flash drive expecting some ancient knowledge and it's just a video of Rick Astley's "never gonna give you up" in 4k
-
No one talks about the cameraguy who went with her throughout the way

Me explaining a meme to my parents

This film is so fascinating. On one hand, it's a bunch of science-y sounding nonsense that has zero actual merit, but wow is it neat to see. On the other hand, you have this fantastic allegory of the birth of God that is so clear throughout, and is even blatantly shown by the "Creation of Adam" moment between Lucy and the hominid. Lucy develops from a dying mortal to a telekinetic superhuman to an actual immortal, omniscient, and omnipotent being who briefly guides humanity before presumably bowing out and letting things run their course. Sincerely. Super cool film, and the ending scenes are just killer for nailing the themes firmly into place.

The visual with Lucy and the real accurate looking Lucy from millions ago is heart wrenching in a great way. 🙏

Plot Twist: The drug was so good she went into imagination mode and all of this is just a dream. She's still on that room chained

when you use a toothpaste recommended by 10 out of 10 dentists

In Lucy: you use 100% of your brain you basically become a god. In real life: you'd pop a blood vessel and die from cognitive overload.

The look on morgans face at the end reacting to the bad guys question was awesome... Reflecting knowing assurance, contempt, and pity all at once.
