The way Ricky's face lights up every time someone roasts him just warms my heart. This man is a slave to comedy. He can't help it. lol
-
When Ricky laughs, he looks like the cheeriest vampire ever š
-
I love the relationship between these two. Colbert can accept Ricky's atheism, and Ricky can accept Colbert's faith. We should all be like that.
-
Love that they can both joke and not take things too seriously. Stephen doesnāt get offended at Rickyās atheism, Ricky doesnāt get offended when Stephen roasts him. Mutual respect.
-
Their stark contrast in beliefs combined with the ability to respect one another intellectually, and have a great sense of humor about it, makes them talk show gold!
-
I think Colbert finds the fact Ricky doesn't like Lord of the Rings more offensive than the fact he's an atheist.
-
"there's no comparison between 200 vs 200 million people at home", my god that's a genius standup comic/writer right there.
-
That Mr. Universe joke was so well-timed that even the audience took a couple of seconds to get it
-
Ricky sipping his drink after āseems a bit far-fetched to meā šššthe shaaaade
-
"Same with Mr. Universe, always comes from earth." š
-
What I like about Ricky is that when he clicks with someone he genuinely finds them funny and isn't afraid to be funny people rather than being insecure.
-
This is one of my favorite interview's ever. Their banter is fantastic. And I just adore Ricky's laugh.
-
These two bounce off each other so well. I'd happily watch a full show of them just bantering
-
Refreshing to see a celebrity almost forgetting to promote his new thing because he's more interested in an actual conversation.
-
I love Ricky Gervais, he's one of the few celebrities that doesn't hide his true beliefs, he is him, no matter who's watching. A genuine human being
-
āSounds a bit far fetched to me.ā Sums up my 12 years of childhood Catholic education. Sure wish I could have casually tossed that at my parents over the breakfast table as I tucked into my pancakes. ššš
-
To save any LOTR fans time, the title is completely misleading as LOTR barely gets a mention. Colbert: I like Tolkien, why don't you? Gervais: It's nonsense. End of discussion on Tolkien.
-
"Mr Universe always comes from Earth." Brilliant.
-
Stephen Colbert is one of the few Americans who understands and loves to participate in genuine British banter and one of the few who can with the Brits š¤£š

2 totally different backgrounds and worldviews. Much love and respect for each other. There's a lesson to be had with these two
