Wow! This left a really strong feeling behind it. Watching Jackson Wang’s music videos are always so intriguing, they all tell stories through choreography, visuals, and his voice not even just the lyrics, he conveys feelings through his voice in tone and style that he sings it in. God everything Jackson makes is a masterpiece, truly.

How am I JUST finding this song???? I'm so obsessed...

So from what I understood from this MV: Jackson had a girl he loved very much, she's the main reason he enjoyed a colorful & outstanding life. Due to the girl's passing from accident, Jackson blamed himself, fell into depression, wasted his life away with alcohol, fights, & troubles. He eventually snapped out of it & returned to 'normal' life. But because the reason for his being different is gone, Jackson blends into the boring society just like any other bland person (as symbolized by beginning of video where everything & everyone was mostly in black, white, & gray). He now wears a fake mask of smiles while hiding his grief, but would always remember his love & hangs on to the memory of her to continue with life

Dang, that was sad. Jackson is really showing everyone his diversity as a director, producer, just man of many talents.

Love the song. Underrated, deserves so much more.

May I add something that I’ve realised about Jackson Wangs heartfelt music. I just yesterday found out about his music and I’m not familiar with anything yet but as someone unbiased I may have something figured out: I was wondering why I feel his music on another, deeper level and it hit me: because he is a deeply passionate human being in any sense . Perhaps you’ll connect this to his musicality only but it’s more than that I feel like. I’ve come to notice that he uses different variations lyrics than other stereotypical slowish joints we are used to in this genre. To top that he also seems to be talented in the field of acting too and that adds more accuracy to the emotions he portrays and delivers. This, at least for me, is a reason to stay tuned for his future project’s.
