Reel #1. The next step is up to the people. The Kesey's will donate the bus to the Furthur down The Road Foundation to be restored if the foundation can raise the money to restore it. Out of the swamp and through the woods to rest in the light in the pasture. Amazing journey thus far. Mutch further to go.
  • Watching the tires spin on the tow truck, knowing that for the first time in 30+ yrs force is being applied to that old magic historic artifact of a bus, and knowing within a few seconds that it might be inching forward it backwards for the first time in so long, that was a poignant moment to reflect on. First movement/first time force has been applied to the bus in so long. One love you guys

Hey Zane, Thank you for resurrecting Furthur! About three years ago I went to the Country Fair and got to see Furthur 2.0 in person. I cried the moment I read the destination on the front. I can't wait to see her finished and back to her original magical splendor. I'd also like to run into you sometime this next summer at fair. At least get a photo with you and thank you in person.

A piece of American history, kind of a crazy period but history none the less. It is a relic, if not the biggest and most widely known relic from the hippie generation. To me its as important as the 1969 Woodstock film.

If I got a dollar for every video I have seen where a group of people save an old hippy bus, I would have $2

Maybe they'll find some vintage LSD

the vibes of the sixties is maybe still in the air from the sixties, trapped in these old tires
  • @relicman
a lot of great memories in that bus I bet!

I've been wondering where this has been, pretty freaking cool to see her again

I like that Bus right where it's at. That's just great the way it is with that moss growing naturally on the roof. I think nature has done a wonderful job of reclaiming it. That's years worth of natural camouflage your undoing there. It's like a tug of war your havin there with nature; just a silly little 2 step. Two steps forward, two steps back. Hopefully Nature'll prevail against man in the end. Sadly, it doesn't look like it's going to play out that way.

Wow Great to see you George! You are the real deal, and a great American. I still see some of the old gang from Ore. I am in Marin, doing the same thing on the same old stuff, with Tom. Pls Zane, tell George, that I said hi. Troy.

I believe that I see Neil Cassidy behind the wheel of the ghost bus.
