Thanks so much for checking out this conversation with The Undertaker! If you haven't already, please take a second to subscribe.
  • Wow, how he changed from his first interviews back when he retired, he was extremely uncomfortable, now he's come to peace with it, amazing, i remember his interviews 3 years ago he was stuttering & abusing the "u know" term, now he's so fluid with his answers, he sacrificed his life both physically & mentally to entertain the fans, god bless this icon .
  • “I’m may be a dinosaur, but I’m a T-Rex.” Damn this man is quotable.

I love the twinkle in undertakers eyes while he talks. The passion still oozing. Forever a legend.

On the Kayfabe in the modern era question, I think MJF is writing the book on how to still remain in character in the internet age. Everything he does in public, including his social media, is 100% in character. He's doing an absolutely phenomenal job of keeping kayfabe alive in an era where everything you do is recorded. 30 years from now, MJF's way of doing things is going to be taught in wrestling schools on how to commit to your character. Kayfabe isn't dead, it's just evolving.

18:33 - 19:24 I have been a die hard Undertaker fan for many years. What he just said there in that time frame, I have waited for years and years for him to say something like that. To nail it right on the head - that's exactly it! Thank you for capturing our imaginations and being a big influence on our lives creating memories we cherish. It was something more than just "any ole character" he lived it and we felt that. One of a kind.

Congratulations Chris! Amazing milestone. Two Legends having a chat.
  • @ReeseMan
i like how chris lets taker talk and he listens and not cut him off
  • Taker is honestly one of those guys that ACTUALLY looks good at his age

Always loved Taker, he made the character as his personality and the way his character is so simple “being in the darkside” in the early years of his WWE/WWF career really elevated his status. The way his character is presented and the way he presented it really made him a badass that even if he became the American BA or the deadman that can do technical moves, he is still great to watch. Great interview Chris! Hope you can interview Mark in person next time!

This short interview is one of the best interviews I've ever seen with Undertaker. He seemed so much more into it and it was a Great Watch.
  • @Qtipz123
The only thing wrong with this interview is that it's only 21 minutes. Definitely need another interview sometime soon 😁 As always great interview Chris. You and Renee are definitely my most watched/loved wrestling interviewers. I love that you're both Canadian too 🥰
  • @Raikiir
Undertaker IS Wrestling for me. He got me into it, he was the reason I stayed interested and now through the interviews I can appreciate the work that the Man put into the character even more. He is one of the all-time greats. Not just in Wrestling.
  • @Slavenmierech
Anyone else genuinely thrilled to see Mark so healthy, happy, full of energy and seemingly enjoying his life?
  • @DroTheEvent
I remember I dressed up a few times as The Undertaker for Halloween. It was his match against Yokozuna at Royal Rumble that I fell in love with the theatrics of wrestling. I also don't care what anyone says, that Undertaker vs Undertaker match at Summer Slam is still one of my favorite matches because of the storytelling behind. Great interview as always Chris.

Was privileged to be at Survivor Series 1990 in Hartford CT. Will never lose that image in my mind the 1st time I saw Taker as an 11 year old kid. What a memory. #thankyoutaker

Incredible interview. I met Undertaker the Phenom at a convention in NY a month before the beginning of the pandemic in 2020. It was the first time I met my childhood icon who have been the Cornerstone of the WWE and he's been the most pivotal part entity the company has ever had and there's never going to be another. The stories he's told is so authentic and he's the most respected legend and human being ever. I have my copy of the Undertaker 25th Anniversary book and he's signed it that time he came in NY. What a moment I've had to meet the Deadman. The Digimon of the WWE like in the anime series a Digimon becomes evolved into a Champion, Ultimate and Mega. Just as the anime series he is the Digimon of the company who kept his character evolved from Champion (1990-1996), Ultimate (1997-1999), Mega (2000-2020). The phases of his character was so awesome - the Western Days, the Goth/Ministry of Darkness era, American Badass and back into the classic Undertaker which became a hybrid of his incarnations until the Mohawk style into Boneyard farewell that's icing on the cake of his versions that no one will duplicate and imitate. Shoutout to you Chris for this amazing interview. You're awesome.

It's about time you interviewed The Undertaker, because for the many years that you've been talking to these wrestlers, I'm surprised you haven't done it already.
