not gonna lie - it feels so overwhelming right now. there are a million companies, a million things i want to try, and i get conflicting information - to hunker down and master one thing, but then i feel passions bubbling up in something else and end up spreading myself too thin. this was so helpful and loved your take on this. i'm in my 20s, a little lost, and thinking about skills each day.
  • I was a developer from 1998 to 2020. The 20 year burnout hurt the most. Im glad I got out when I did. I don't really need to work ever again but I decided to start a lawn mowing business to keep me from getting bored and I ended up loving it; I wish I did it 15 years ago. If you're starting to hate sitting in front of a computer all day and sick of being at the mercy of the market, start saving up and thinking of making your own business. I'd even recommend finding something thst puts you outside every day. Even better is I enjoy doing personal projects with new tech for fun now that I dont work in the field anymore.

  • Came here to learn about what kills to learn, you ended up showing a sponsored tutorial on making a website. This is what the world has come to.
  • As a math student, I am kinda terrified with how AI may be able to solve some pure math problems more efficiently than mathematicians.

That historic recap in the beginning was super useful. Thanks for that! and Yeah on that last part, learning how to think about using AI to make money, is something I would definitely vote to see a video on from you.

Tina, I've been in the content creation industry for decades and experienced the introduction of the internet all the way through how social media has change society. each one of these stages scares the public on how life is going to change for ever, It does!. The best piece of advice I can give is to knuckle down and learn... it will never end. AI is good and bad at the same time but there is nothing we can do now to stop it. Learn it , love it and utilize it!
