I made the epic final battle scene from Avatar in Minecraft Hardcore!
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
Avatar is one of my favorite movies. I figured to celebrate the new sequel coming December 16th I would make the most EPIC recreation of the Avatar anyone has ever done in Minecraft!

Thank you for watching! If you have any questions, please fully read the description and this comment! Here are Shovel241's socials, this build would not have been possible without him! Shovel241's YouTube - youtube.com/shovel241 Shovel241's Instagram - www.instagram.com/shovel241builds.mc/ This video took me over 250 hours to record and edit, if you enjoy it, please consider subscribing to help support me and the channel! If you are wondering why in some of the timelapse shots the day cycle isn't changing, that's because I have a mod that makes it look like it's always day time during the replay mod shots. Thanks for reading!

This looks SO GOOD!! I'm honored to have been able to help out on this epic project, but props to you for getting it done in survival! You are an absolute madlad
  • since the islands are super high up in the clouds, the clouds condensate on the islands when they come in contact of each other, the water from the condensation eventually pools up into an area like a flood plain or hole and makes the waterfalls, also you should name the dog naga after Korras dog from avatar
  • @Jeracraft
This gives me ideas for an avatar style survival map, that would be interesting. :hand-orange-covering-eyes: ill mention you if I ever do it 😂
  • @Kelvoraax
7:43 Rainfall, the same way water gets to the top of most mountains/hills. The water cycle is just water falling, evaporating, then falling again, and it looks like that island is inside of clouds rather than above them, so the water can still reasonably get there! <3

Haven't even watched this yet but I know this is going to be incredible.

I don’t know how people can build this good. Everyone should give Wumba a big round of applause.
  • @aidenrivera
You said you wanted an explanation on how the water gets to the waterfall. Basically, the vines are super water absorbent, and that's how they carry so much weight. The water travels from the ground where it touches and also from rain all over the island carried by clouds the islands touch. The vines pick up that water and carry it upwards, and it eventually makes its wat to a water reserve (a lake like thing) that water then flows off the island back dispersing again to be recycled back up.

Honestly, this is one of the most craziest videos I have ever seen. And it's inspiring as well. I literally can't believe that you built (and then also edited) all of this in just 48 days when you still go to school. So this is a very small „Thank you“ for you!
  • @xenosmoke8915
The gathering process was so nuts that by the time you came to build I’d forgotten this was still the avatar video.
  • @shimo_96
Man, you are a legend. This is a project I wouldn't even think of attempting without an 8 person crew, and creative mode, but you not only did it in hardcore, but on a deadline too! Absolutely insane! I love this build!
  • @oyllox_alt
Man, serious respect to this guy, basically grinding so much that he basically loses brain cells, just for an amazing Avatar picture. This guy is absurdly underrated! Great job, and I don't think anyone could out perform you for a long time!
  • @bachmanity_
this video really makes me happy , really ending the year on a good note With this masterpiece.
  • @gamingriley5851
Can we just admire the fact that he BARELY finished it in time!
  • @yellerthc6010
Dont get me wrong, but this makes me feel even more pumped about building my castle in survival (not hardcore i die to much) consisting of about 750 THOUSAND blocks before interior has been completed and designed... im hoping for that sweet sweet 1 mil blocks
  • No no no hear me out. This man is soooo underrated. he has spent over 10000 Minecraft days building awesome projects and even with this one timing it all. He deserves to have a lot more subs and views because his projects are absolutely insane and mind blowing. Also he achieved his goal, he i spired me to not give up on my own projects in my worlds. He needs more attention
  • You questioned why the waterfalls appeared on the edge of the floating mountains, and I'll tell you why: There could be a number of explanations for how the floating islands of Pandora came to have waterfalls. The most logical answer is that the Hallelujah Mountains are regularly engulfed in fog, as you can see from the movie sequence. Similar to how a soccer net may get wet after a fog, the dense trees and bushes on top of the floating island may have retained the water particles in the air. These waters might build up, and given the persistent fog, it is simple for them to do so on top of the islands to accumulate enough water to generate a stream, leading to a waterfall.

The construction process is definitely more tiring and arduous than the video shows, respect!
  • @setraline2863
The reason for this water is tropical plants catching it from the thick mist that you can see in the movie, as well as the altitude allowing water to build up before it is released, that’s the best thing I got for you
