Don't insult the bands that made Rock and Roll history. I'm proud to be a fan of great classic rock!

This list is trash! The Beatles (greatest band of all time) number 1?!? The Rolling Stones, AC/DC and Queen? All classics with a music catalog that has aged flawlessly. These are the bands who everyone still looks up to and are still relevant all these years later. Nothing embarrassing here
  • They may be old, but still better than anyone out there today, gen-z are tone deaf to.
  • @torray61
How could the Beatles age embarrassingly when none of them had celebrated a 30th birthday when they broke up? They were never irrelevant in their day and their music still inspires to this day.

Almost all bands on this list are classic rock acts who were in their prime in the 70s and 80s. How can you shit on bands who are still talked about and looked upon 40 to 50 years later? Try making a list of todays bands 30 years from now... That should be hilariously boring

Such a shitty list. And they mention that Glen Matlock of Sex Pistols is dead due to drug use. However Glen Matlock is live and well!

90% agree... as a person who saw the Stones live in the '60's as well as around a decade ago, I can say that they are better now than EVER before.
  • Same criticism of all these groups. How ridiculous. Bad commentary.

Nearly all famous artists in popular music have been accused of plagiarism whether officially or unofficially: The Beatles, Michael Jackson, Elton John, The Beach Boys, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Nirvana, James Brown, Mariah Carey, Guns N' Roses, Radiohead, Oasis, Paul Simon, Prince, Madonna, Janet Jackson, Kiss, Eminem, Rod Stewart, Bruce Springsteen, etc... Even film scorers like John Williams, Hans Zimmer, & James Horner aren't safe from such accusations. The funny thing is movie directors borrow from each other all the time yet most don't make a big deal out of it. The likes of George Lucas & Quentin Tarantino even get praised for doing so.

This list is laughably bad. How many times can you use the word derivative? Led Zeppelin broke up.40+ years ago. This was supposed to be a list of groups that aged poorly, but the Beatles broke up 54 years ago. How exactly did they.age badly as a group when they weren't together?
  • No one did for music what the Beatles did. No song writing compares to Lennon and McCartney! Rock On!

Malcom Young didn't die of alcoholism. In fact, if you'd done any research, Angus and Malcolm didn't drink. Malcolm died from dementia related problems. What a slight here! RIP Malcolm! One helluva guitarist!
  • The Rolling Stones recent Hackney Diamonds album is actually quite good.

The 80s was a rough time for most these artists. Especially the 60s/70s bands 😢
  • @belle9438
I disagree, many of these bands are still awesome. AC/DC being my number one. I would like to see what you're doing when you're in your 70's. Also, that was not Randy Meisner, it was Glenn Frey. I couldn't listen to the rest because you don't know what you are talking about. Do your research.
  • Kinda tasteless to crap on these talented musicians for still doing what they love and are passionate about. 👎
