Ingredients

Tenderiser

Beef
1 tsp baking soda
¼ – ½ cup water
1 tbsp soy sauce
pinch of white pepper

Rinse off before use.


Marinade

2 tbsp oyster suace
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp dark soy sauce
1 tsp Shoaxing wine
¼ tsp sesame oil
pinch white pepper


This is a minimum marinade – you can add whatever you like.

    👍🏻 Yep, this works a treat for all sorts of meat .. even chicken breasts, and even pork including rind. Rinsing the bicarb off is very important - i always rinse twice. And you can freeze it afterwards in a bag with soy, sherry, garlic, and ginger .. and it will escape freezer burn 👌🏻

    This method works but even after rinsing there still strong aftertaste of baking soda. You can try masking it with soya sauce , sesame oil , garlic , I can still taste it. Best method is spend a couple of dollars more and get a better cut of beef!
