Delta Aquariid meteor shower 2022 (and Alpha Capricornids, Perseids...) - 30 meteors in realtime

Towards the end of July, weather permitting, numerous shooting stars can be seen in the sky. This does not come from a single strong meteor shower, but from several smaller ones. Even if these are rather weak, they produce a relatively large number of shooting stars overall. For example, Delta Aquariids and Alpha Capricornids peak around July 30th. In addition, the Perseid meteor shower is already active. However, the latter only peaks on August 13th, when you can see up to 100 shooting stars per hour under optimal conditions. The observation conditions are currently very good. On July 28th there was a new moon and so no moonlight disturbs the observation of the shooting stars.

Gegen Ende Juli kann man, wenn das Wetter mitspielt, zahlreiche Sternschnuppen am Himmel sehen. Dies kommt nicht durch einen einzelnen starken Meteorschauer, sondern durch mehrere kleinere. Auch wenn diese eher schwach sind, so produzieren sie doch in der Summe relativ viele Sternschnuppen. So haben z.B. die Delta Aquariiden als auch die Alpha Capricorniden um den 30. Juli ihren Höhepunkt. Zudem ist auch schon der Perseiden Meteorschauer aktiv. Letzterer hat aber erst am 13. August seinen Höhepunkt, dann kann man unter optimalen Bedingungen bis zu 100 Sternschnuppen pro Stunde sehen. Aktuell sind die Beobachtungsbedingungen sehr gut. Am 28. Juli war Neumond und so stört kein Mondlicht beim Beobachten der Sternschnuppen.
