In September, Soldiers from The U.S. Army Band and The Royal Corps of Army Music met in Washington, D.C., for a week of collaboration, training, and performances. As a part of this musical partnership, musicians from both armies recorded an original song written by British Soldier Colour Sgt. Liam Compson.

    I was born in France but lived in the USA in 1988-1996 and 2003-2008. I certainly learned to respect the Armed forces for their sacrifuc]cie as freedome is not free. I also was a Sergeant Drill Instructor in the French Army in Germany in my national service in 1983-84. Americamight be young still but can continue to inspire some other countries with concepts like PBS, Sesame Street, the Little House in the Prairie etc...to...how to honor armed forces when they really protect the people's freedoms and liberties when truly necessary. May God Bless America...
