ā¤ā¤ hi Valerie, I have waited for over 20 years that may sound like a lot to figure out this recipe. Iā€™ve tried everything I could try, but I never thought I needed the pie filling. I made your cake today and youā€™re right it smells fantastic and I know itā€™s gonna turn out just like yours, but I couldnā€™t believe that I found this recipe the way I found it was years ago with my fiancĆ© at a street festival. She had big muffins and she was selling them for two dollars apiece. I told her I would pay her whatever she wanted for the recipe, she would not give it to me, so I am very determined. Person never forgot the recipe. I did go back the next day and buy two dozen from her and kept them in the freezer. They do freeze very nicely frosting on them thank you thank you thank you. You are fabulous. Iā€™m 80 years old now and I just found this recipe and I was in my mid 30s when I first ran across it.

Wow, Valerie! That was above and beyond! I loved the variety, too!

Everything looked really good. I happen to have 2 peach trees and a plum tree that are really loaded with fruit right now, but they will be small as it's their first year producing any fruit. I am going to make that peach cake with some of my peaches. Home grown is always the best! I make a Lemon Icebox Pie aka "Sin Pie" in our house for Easter. It's super easy too. Just mix frozen lemonade concentrate with a can of sweetened condensed milk and a carton of cool whip. Add food coloring if you want and put into a graham cracker crust. Chill for an hour and it's time to eat!

I love watching you come up with these cakes. I've lost 70 lbs with Keto but I still like to bake for others. I baked some easter cupcakes and I remembered to use milk instead of water and adding an extra egg!! Thanks so much!!
