Thank you for showing us this devastating footage. People need to see it, so they can help. My brother and his family live in Fayetteville and all is ok. Thank you!
-
Great job, Mark. Saw your footage on the Raleigh news tonight.

Should have seen the railroad track between Evans Hill and fayetteville state university. A RIVER RAN THRU IT. Literally!
-
Holy Cow! I grew up in Fayetteville and still live close by. I don't remember there ever being flooding like this. Stay safe everyone.

My heart sunk when you went into the building, I thought you were going to be trapped in there for sure, even looked like the water was closer to the top of the door on your way out. Flood waters nasty. I've heard of people dying from small cuts in flood water. Cool video though, Crazy to see Fayetteville like that, I lived there a few years back. Happy to be back in Maine now though.

It's really sad to see Fayetteville like that. I lived in that city for 11 years. It has a rough reputation, well because it is kind of a rough city, but I have some great memories from living there too. I still live in North Carolina, and I hope this beautiful state will come together and help everyone who suffered loss during this hurricane.

I remember when hurricane Matthew hit Lumberton North Carolina hard because I was 5 minutes away from Lumberton, much love and respect to all

This is so sad. The places I love the most, flooded. My boyfriend lives in Clarkton. The only gas station open right now is in Fayettville. Lumberton, Bladenborro, Clarkton, parts of Whiteville this is all so sad to me!! Absolutely breaks my heart seeing Fayettvile like this. God bless you all!!! And stay safe out there ❤️
