I love that they used to make saturday morning cartoons out of R rated movies back them. They even gave Mortal Kombat a cartoon, despite the game being M rated. lol

I really dont get when people say that the cartoon was made to attract younger audiences, i mean we all were like 6 years old when we first saw the movie and we loved as it is so how can it get any younger than that? Babies?? I think the expression “more suitable” is a better fit.

All of this series was recently put up on a channel called Orbital Bacon. They also put up all seasons of a lesser known Robocop cartoon called: Alpha Commando. The channal uploads old retro stuff in general. Check them out if old stuff like this is your thing.

Too bad this show only lasted 12 episodes seeing as how it had so much potential. I also find it sad that Kurtwood Smith didn't come back to reprise his iconic role as Clarence J. Boddicker and I blame that stupid executive producer Margaret Loesch who thought a rated-R movie that turned into this show shouldn't be shown to kids.

supreasly in the 1990's the robocop animated tv serres actaly gets a proper seqal seres that waa a bit more gritty and serous and a bit more grown up ish with much more realsuim of the rognal movies learning far more into the darker aspects of cyberpunk.
