  • @lemmymaster
Godot's theme starts playing Everyone in the live chat: ā˜•ā˜•ā˜•ā˜•
  • What I love about Dahliaā€™s track is that the way you interpret the track varies depending on whether you played the game or not. Before playing T&T I found it calming and majestic but after playing it itā€™s straight-up eerie to me. Dahlia is just so evil.
  • @aikenka
Those aren't meant to be sleigh bells in the traditional Japanese sounding songs but suzu, small round bells used in shinto rituals
  • @BanjoTheBot
    Most soundtracks: very original, with their own sets of instruments and ways of representing things. BGC: N O W S Y O U R C H A N C E T O B E A B I G S H O T
  • @hansgretl1787
Every Ace Attorney game has the same general tracks: -Courtroom Lobby -Trial -Cross Examination Moderato -Cross Examination Allegro -Telling the Truth -Objection -Pursuit -Detention Center -Investigation Opening -Investigation Middle Stage -Investigation Core That's why a lot if the time, to distinguish between the OSTs, we number them after release year, so this game has Cortroom Lobby 2004, for example. If a track doesn't loop, it's safe to assume that it's used for cutscene music . Add to that Character, Location and Recollection themes and that's just about it.
  • @AlneCraft
54:22 You can see the smile fade from his face as the song starts playing. That's what 3-4 does to people
  • @danielcogan8205
Glad you liked this gameā€™s ost! Just know that if you listen to the next gameā€™s soundtrack, Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney, that itā€™s the first Ace Attorney game originally made for the DS (not ported from the GBA), so it sounds quite different. Apollo Justice and AAI2 have my personal favorite ostā€™s, so youā€™re in for a treat!
  • it's interesting that your final opinion about the trilogy soundtrack mirrors the popular opinion of the trilogy of games. the third game is the most emotionally and logically complex, and the second game is typically agreed to be the weakest entry of the three.
  • @yeahman6907
Glad you liked the trilogy. And glad you recognized the same pursuit song from the first game. Itā€™s awesome when it shows up in the third game
  • @JaneXemylixa
Again, you DO NOT have the emotional context for the Cornered remix. When it plays, for your very last objection, it hits like a truck
  • @cabanochi1936
really cool reaction as always! Very interesting seeing someone listen through without knowing itā€™s relevance to the story, but you can just pick apart how the music itself is made! I enjoy it a lot haha. Also I love at the end when the bitter taste of truth started playing and everyone in chat was crying, meanwhile you were just examining the music LOL
  • I've been listening to a lot of AA music recently and you popped up in my recommendation feed! Really enjoy your reactions, I studied some musical theory in highschool so I can almost follow along with your nerdy terminologies :D pretty fun hearing that sort of language again. If I should recommend something it'd be Ghost Trick, really amazing OST that is done by the same composer as the first Ace Attorney game.
  • Today I listened to Ori and the Blind Forest and now I really want to see his reaction to this OST. Would make my day.
  • @marksmania42
Great reaction as always. Also it was my first time getting mentioned on Live stream! thank you, Dan!
  • @CPPierrot
Iā€™ve watched each of these so far and absolutely love your analysis! I would be remiss if not to recommend the soundtracks to the Professor Layton series as well!
  • @corgiidev
You should 110% react to the soundtrack of The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles. Way different genre, but in my opinion some of the best music in any video game.
  • @TheUltimateRare
i think this Game, (T&T) had one of the best soundtrack in the series, and it does show! It's not shocking to see it's your favorite for the series that you've hear. i hope you will be doing ace attorney Investigations one and two at some point as well. they should be coming up in the coming weeks assuming the poll stays on ace attorney again these following weeks. (personally i'm looking forward to your reaction to great ace attorney tracks ;) )
