I'm going to assume most people here are either A) weebs B) Cringing at their young self going through a creepypasta and/or emo phase C) Gay af Or you're like me, still emo at 16 AND gay (pansexual lmao) af. (2021 update: I am now 17 and somewhere in the middle between emo and punk lol) (2022 update: I'm bi, not pan lol, I figured out I have a preference for men)

If we're gonna be honest we all listened or bumped into this song when we were like 8 or 10

I dont get how people dont know the meaning, it's clearly about a gay relationship, but one of the guys is most likely ashamed or doesnt want to be known for liking men, so he's keeping their relationship secret out of eyes view, and the person singing feels like he's being lead on and not really being loved, and the guy singing wants his lover to just be open and want him in front of others, and he starts getting irritated from the "you arent gonna get away with this" and the fact he's now forcing his partner to love him the way he feels like he should be loved

I don't always listen to this song, but if I do, I listen to it like 20 times in a row

Now I remember why I liked this song when I was younger.
  • I remember describing the beginning music to my friends as akin to 'being molested by an Pharaoh' I stand by that review.

This song is talking about how his lover is “seen” to love him as a secret, (texts from you, sex from you) but out in public, he ignores him despite how much he seems to adore him at home. His cunning ways drives Simon crazy, possibly lead him to kidnap the love. (Show me how I mesmerize you), and since the lover is kidnapped, he has no choice than show Simon his true feelings. Maybe, his other song, “Flesh,” shows the brainwashed lover performaning sexual acts on Simon.
