A PROPERLY SCARY GAME | At Dead of Night - PART 1

The way you move around in this game is so fucking terrifying I just can't.

Mark/Intro : "Respect the dead." Mark, after talking to the 'little girl' : "Later, nerd!"

It was actually pretty smart to find all of the evidence items before triggering jimmy, mark is an accidental genius

Jimmy: watch the show! Girl: no thank you Jimmy: let’s motivate her with a controlled shock

Mark: How many people are screaming at me not to go in? Everyone: Go in, we want to see if it kills you or not.

Nice to see a game where the ghosts are the victims and not the enemy.

I like how he ran around for almost an hour, having not done the tutorial, finding objects before he was supposed to and Jimmy wasn't even activated.

Top 3 unusual and awesome things about this game: - The monster is a human and NOT the ghosts, for a change. - The mixing of real footage and masterful video editing. - Jimmy won't let Mark pee.

For the people that were wondering and on edge, Jimmy/Hugo starts hunting him at 51:14

"A bottle of whiskey and other spirits... SPIRITS?!" I swear, if Mark had pulled out the ghost box right then to try and communicate with the whiskey, I would've lost it.

Mark: ”is anyone there?” Ghost: y’all hear something? Cool me neither.

Maya: refuses entertainment Jimmy: And I took that personally

honestly if the proprietor just made his show earlier than midnight i feel like he’d actually get attendance

This game is probably one of the best I've seen. I've watched this series multiple times and still get jump scared at times and feel anxious around every time he turns the corner.

Mark here some tips for the game... Hopefully those could help you: -You don't have to watch every key hole before you enter a room -Stay and watch more through the peephole before you leave the room -Watch at every corner, if you see a shadow then Jimmy is there -If Jimmy close to you, the three lines who are in the circle down right in your screen gonna be red -Dont hide in bathroom if you are in the third floor cause most of times he could catch you -There are some times that you have to stay still to trigger a cutscene and then you could be able to make contact with a spirit/ghost -If you see lights flickering that means they could guide you to a ghost -You are safe from Jimmy when you are in basement (LG) and ground floor and stairs -If Jimmy catch you, you would find the spirit box in the first floor store -Find all objects to make contact with spirits and make the story progress -If you talk to a ghost Jimmy can't hurt you or catch you -The elevator could give you hint in which floor you have to go -You are able to lock jimmy in the room if you have the deadlock key of that room... That gives you some time to roam around freely

Looking back on this gameplay a year later, I do feel kinda bad for jimmy (in the beginning). Being unhinged when you dont WANT to be is fuckin torture.... A lot of ppl that are fucked up in the head subconsciously lean into the psychotic breaks, but jimmy genuinely seemed to fight.... If his mother had gotten him the help he needed when he was younger, he may very well have been OK. Who knows? 🤷🏽‍♀

Can we just appreciate the person playing Jimmy/Hugo? They're a fantastic actor!
