I think some of the contestants may feel a little uneasy that someone as young as Yibo came to tell them how to dance, but it's ok, like Yibo said, it was just his advertisement, do what you feel more comfortable with.

I felt that Yibo was uncomfortable after what the guy said about not changing their movements. OMGGG

Yibo is very dedicated to the dance instructor. He is really good. Yibo is the best!

Yibo is really good at being a teacher imo, he helped them at the level they were at. And he didn’t say anything to discourage them right before their big performance, despite his obvious thoughts on the matter 😅

I think that Yibo makes a good teacher because he's passionate about dance, patient, and attentive to detail. I feel, however, that he seems a little uncomfortable critiquing them because they're all older -- and I'm assuming have more seniority in the industry -- than him, and he's so respectful that I'm sure part of him is fighting the urge to be a little more critical and the other half is going, "nope, nope, nope, be careful with your words". And then when he suggested changing the dance move to make it easier and more uniform, it was sweet that he was thinking about it that way; the thing about them not wanting to change it because they'd practiced that way makes sense but at the same time doesn't because they were all doing it wrong from the beginning anyways. Oh well. All I can say is good luck, Yibo; keep on going because you're doing awesome. And I'm excited because he's going to be a mentor on Street Dance of China and working with people who are actually supposed to be good at dance.

Lol. WYB trying to stay positive “hai ke yi” (begrudgingly like... it’s ok... good enough). Poor guy had a full facial twitch /grimace at the end trying not to say anything too blunt or critical. He did a good job of giving them small pointers

It’s really difficult to critique your seniors because it all comes down to “sounding rude” and accidentally saying something wrong. Yibo handled the changing-the-step situation well and I’m impressed that although I see he was a bit thrown off, he didn’t let it show and maintained his professionality. And God I understand the pain on his face at the end so well. Even I have been always terrified of being too critical and blunt on my seniors during practice even if it was for the sake of the performance. But despite the faults Yibo didn’t discourage them and instead cheered them on. I’ve only rediscovered Yibo a while back and I look up to him so much now as a dancer. He’s so professional.

This didi.. Hope, you'll remain uncorrupted & untainted, Yibo di. Such a humble young man despite his achievements & popularity.
