main dealer EV tech here, buy some proper gloves lads, 400v dc does not give you a second chance... it is unlikely, but a damaged cable is enough to kill you, not injure, kill... normal 12v battery is usually buried in the boot software lockout is standard on nearly all new cars, can't even change pads these days..

Get yourselves some insulated gloves. It's possible it's the pyro fuse causing the issues. EVs and hybrids have them too.

Evening lads, the gateway been locked is normal on newer Renault's and Dacia's. Depending on which brand of scanner you use you can buy tokens from Renault to gain access so no problem. Good luck.

Hi Rob and Chris. I can't see the gloves too clearly, but they'll not protect you from high voltage. The ones I use are a lot bigger and thicker than those. Please be careful;.

There are special gloves for operating high voltage connectors. Those nitrile gloves won't cut it and do not isolate enough.

Dealer software required, autel scanners you can buy access. But hybrid battery can only be restarted by renault

Alpine is like a sportscar arm of Renault and is pronounced "alpeen". the same Alpine as in the Alpine(Renault) F1 team.

ever thought the reason the engine dont start and systems shuts down is the pyrofuse? it may have blown as the airbags have gone off
