I just bought a 50cc for my family to ride. I must say, I enjoy riding it more than my other faster bikes. I’m very impressed how the 50cc handles to people on the scooter very well. Just to clarify to those who may not know, reason I got a 50cc was because sure where I live all you need is a car driving license, so figured it as great introduction fir the family to riding. I am eyeing a 300cc Vespa in the future.
  • I'm a proud owner of a 2009 model, matt gray. Rust free and immaculate with 3000 mile on the clock. For 8-9 years I had it parked up in my Kitchen and its just recently I decided to start riding it.

I’ve two regular motorbikes at 650-1000cc and have had Vespa PX125 and 200 in the past. I just bought a 300 GTS (I’m in Ireland). I decided to run it in around Northern Spain and Southern France on a mini-tour. OMG it’s like a magic carpet compared to a bike, and when you hit a town you can park it up anywhere. Hop on and off. I had around 58 litres of soft luggage on the rear rack, I didn't realise you could get bar end weights, but I didn't notice any wobble at speed. I will keep my eye on this. I have driven in the US, but I’ve just learned from you that freeway and highway aren't the same thing 😁 Thanks for the content.

Phil at Cleveland Moto is a great guy. Bought a ‘20 GTS Super from them.
  • Again, my dream Vespa! Love it! Nice job on the video. I just switched from the GoPro to the DJI Action 4 and wireless mic, and so glad I did. Keep it up! Look forward to the next one.

I just got one in the matte black! I am also from Columbus - got it from Iron Pony. I have yet to get my 'temps' but working on it! LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • @Fourwedge
It definitely took me lots of testing and trials to get my video / sound right. I love your Vespa!
  • @vesparama
Thanks for the video. That was interesting. I don't ride (yet) but I've got the vespa bug. Went to check some out and was a little intimidated as they were a little bigger and heavier than i thought they'd be but haven't actually ridden one yet. Everyone including yourself talks about how easy to ride and stable they are. When I see those old Vietnamese dudes flying around on them I think "surely it can't be that hard". Doing a course is a good thing.
  • Audio came through ok. Check out Flat grid riders vlog on what Audio & video set up he uses its very comprehensive & will be helpful! Love your Scoot & am aiming to get a hold of an orange GTS 300 super sport down the track myself. Currently have a Yamaha Xmax 300 & while the experts tell me its a superior bike to the Vespa, seems like a Vespa may make me smile more readily. the streets where you live look like they would be nice when the trees are in foliage, good luck getting more work so you can keep on scooting. Cheers from Oz (Australia)

I’ve just bought one identical to yours, and I absolutely love it, only been out 4 times and done nearly 600 miles. But I would like to know if that screen on your bike has made a difference with the airflow ? Also every time I fill it with petrol I spill it down the side of the bike so I’m gonna look at buying one of those gadgets.

I am not particularly a fan of matte paint, but I had no choice. I have a '23 Super Tech which only comes with matte paint. But I have not had an issue with bugs marring the finish. And we have bugs here in South Texas. I do clean them off after a ride. Maybe that makes a difference?
  • @AltitudeRider
Before you go buy a new mic, try pulling your windshield off for a ride. I think they add a lot of buffering. Just an idea. Enjoying your rides!
