The anthem of an entire generation. Oddly, it almost moved me to tears.

Ive still got my Barry Gray 'no strings attached' record from when i was a little nipper. I still love it at 40 years old ❤

This is the piece of music I want at my funeral. THUNDERBIRDS ARE GO ! 😅

We need to make this the anthem of United Earth, if ever it becomes a thing one day... (not keeping my hopes very high, but one can always hope !)

    勇壮な管楽器に始まり、優雅な弦楽器、ムーディーなサックス。色とりどり。 未だにダンプや重機が動くたびにこの曲が頭の中で響いてます。

Absolute genius Thank You for making my childhood Gerry & Sylvia Anderson and of course the Fab scores of Barry Grey

Written by the great Barry Gray who also wrote another fantastic memorable opening theme for Space 1999.

I wish I played this in high-school band class

Gerry's shows are genius. Over 50 years after shows like Stingray, Thunderbirds and Captain Scarlet hit the screens for the first time, they're still winning new audiences and new generations to this day. Case in point, my dad was 8 years old when Thunderbirds was first broadcast in 1965, 27 years later, he took me (when I was 3 years old) to my local cinema to watch a reshowing of Thunderbirds Are Go and although I don't have children of my own yet, my Godson, who was a similar age to me when I was introduced to it, was enthralled with Trapped in the Sky (the first episode of Thunderbirds) and has probably got gripped with the world Gerry and Sylvia Anderson created all those years ago

Barry Gray's Anderson themes are the most wonderful hallmarks of a generation 🙂

This song and this show are magnificent. Supermarionation will never die because it's supernaturally good.
  • Have i ever told you i love you? It's only because i never had this format to thank you for a lifetime of fun! Pretty please, with sugar on top, keep this up!!!

I was at the Aldershot Army day (aged 8) and was in tears when the Royal Marines band struck this up. Still gets me to this day, 50 years later.
