Now put a small solar cell on top connected to a small motor that turns the whole rig so each plant will get equal sunshine. No need for a switch, plus a large enough cell can run the pump too.

Looks great. A bit much on the paint imo, but if you're concerned with heat, white is good, reflective would be better, depending on shade requirements of the plant and environment.
  • Hydroponics seemed initially a good idea until it was pointed out that all the food is devoid of vital nutrients found only in the soil.

I don’t think that you can ever get away from micro plastics. Your fleece jackets, blankets, microfibre cloths, all the shrink wraps in packaging contribute to it’s proliferation. All your electronic gadgets etc etc etc. it’s intertwined with us now. Even your gardening tools, bags strings and rope. It’s already in our foods. Basically any where there’s plastic, it’s going to be present. Open your eyes and look closely at everything and it will be there. Have a nice day.

  • I made a few of these and ran them for half a year. In the end, they are a real hassle in comparison to running a straight kratky tub method. Kratky is WAY easier and less maintenance.

PVC-vegetables.... Mmmh yummu and not cancerous. Love it! There is only one PVC type that's less toxic and it has a lightish grey color. Not this toxic construction tubes. Welcome to America 😂
