I have a couple Eufy doorbell cameras and neither has ever totally obeyed it’s settings. They’re supposed to machine learn to recognize your face so it doesn’t always alert for familiar faces. But it ALWAYS alerts to my face, dozens of times, but I’ve watched strangers walk right to my door and it doesn’t trigger. And no matter where I draw the alert zone, it just doesn’t care, it misses stuff right through the centre of that zone every single day. And you can not set them to continuously record, to avoid missing triggers.

I have mine set on a default position but the camera keeps turning around facing the pole it’s mounted on. Pretty much 24/7 the camera has been turned around facing the pole. If I pan it around towards the driveway it says “limit has been reached” and as soon as I get off the app, it turns right back around towards the pole. I saw another review on Amazon of someone having the same issue. Eufy is out of stock of these cameras and won’t be able to send me another one until mid April.
