As someone who live in an area with high knife crime what I've been taught is Firstly if the knife is still stuck in you leave it alone and whatever you do don't pull it out Secondly if the knife is not still in the person apply pressure asap Thirdly if you are to get stabbed in an arm or leg like the officer in this video raise it above heart level, this should make it bleed less Thank you for coming to my ted talk
