The Silence S01 Plus electric scooter is a sleek and efficient mode of transportation designed to provide a quiet and environmentally friendly riding experience. Here is a description of its features and specifications:

1. Design: The S01 Plus boasts a modern and stylish design with clean lines and a minimalist aesthetic. It is built with high-quality materials, combining durability with an elegant appearance.

2. Electric Motor: This scooter is powered by a robust electric Hub motor that provides smooth and silent acceleration. The motor delivers ample torque for quick acceleration and ensures a comfortable ride.

3. Battery: The S01 Plus is equipped with a high-capacity lithium-ion battery pack. It offers an impressive range, allowing riders to cover significant distances on a single charge. The battery is removable, facilitating easy charging and replacement.

4. Performance: With its efficient electric motor and advanced battery technology, the S01 Plus offers excellent performance. It can reach a top speed suitable for urban commuting, typically around 25 to 30 mph (40 to 48 km/h), depending on local regulations and with the "push to pass" button you will get 68MPH. Don't judge though , This is also a very suitable scooter to ride on national speed limit roads.

5. Range: The scooter's range varies depending on several factors such as rider weight, terrain, and speed. On average, the S01 Plus can travel between 60 to 80 miles (96 to 128 kilometers) on a full charge. However, it's important to note that the range may vary in real-world riding conditions.

6. Charging: The S01 Plus supports fast charging, allowing the battery to be charged quickly. The exact charging time will depend on the charger used, but typically it takes around 3 to 4 hours to fully charge the battery or 7 hours is realistic I found.

7. Features: The S01 Plus comes equipped with various features for convenience and safety. It may include a digital display that provides information such as speed, battery level, and trip distance. Other features may include LED lighting, regenerative motor braking, and a comfortable seat.

8. Noise Level: As the name suggests, Silence scooters are designed to minimize noise pollution. The S01 Plus offers an exceptionally quiet ride, making it ideal for urban environments where noise reduction is important.

9. Eco-Friendly: Being an electric scooter, the S01 Plus produces zero emissions during operation. By choosing an electric scooter over a traditional Dino oil-powered vehicle, riders contribute to reducing air pollution and carbon footprint.

  • Don't know if it's already come up in the comments. The basic SO1 connect is exactly the same as the SEAT Mó. Sold for around £4995.00 I had one for a year and really loved it. Only trouble I live in West Cumbria and it wasn't really suitable for range due to all the big hills around. Also SEAT only have a few dealers who actually support the bike. My nearest dealership was in Manchester or Middlesbrough. Before I retired I used it daily as only a six mile round trip. The SEAT customer support was basically non existent. Silence were more help even though they didn't cover warranty problems when the included tracker system stopped working. I would fully recommend if you have a participating dealer within round trip range otherwise forget it. To all the bigoted bikers out there, try one. They're a lot of fun. To all the brainwashed battery fire worriers. The incidence of battery fires in vehicles is 2 in 10000. The incidence of fire in ICE vehicles is 1 in 10000. You do the maths.
  • @Brammetje046
Will get mine in a few weeks, thanks for the great video!
  • What's a really great selling point with these is they do an optional windmill you can fit to the handlebars so it never needs charging 👍😊
  • Well done for an unbiased fair revue, ideal for city transport👍
  • @paulegan7250
Hiya, excellent very well-balanced review, Well done to Toby as well for giving us his thoughts on the pillions view and his camera work. I have no real need for one these days but as you say definitely food for thought. Thanks mate.
  • Congrats ER, somebody had to be first and even though You are an enthusiastic character, one could feel the effort to 'justify' the machine! My prehistoric Honda SHMode did 150 miles yesterday, topped tank for £6.31 which will now send me at least 156 miles, the only anxiety, my tank🌋🌋🌋
  • @Saddlebags73
The ‘granny basket’ style battery trolly suits you 😉 Great review ER and Toby gave good input 👍🏼 Silly money at half the price 🥴
  • @johnlaw3323
Great vlog very interesting with lots of info.
  • @kenbrooks7794
Well, I take my hat off to you E.R...... you've got an awesome knack of sounding enthusiastic about less than attractive raw material... 😉
  • Great vid. Have SilenceUK told you off yet for extending the battery handle before pulling it out?
  • Really interesting scooter, at that price I would rather consider the adv 350 you reviewed. But 7k for a 125 would price out many learners, but interesting and thanks for sharing 😊🙏
  • @BlakesPipes
I see all the coments on the price, and i agree. I think i would want the Trail 125 for that price. I understand with 2030 coming quickly for you guys, i am sure there will be more to come over the next couple years. High five to doing this video and did a great job. But, going to work, i would need to do 70 and coming home, i need to do 85. Seems people want to get home with speed on the highway. 🤪
  • @wesstarmedia
Lovely review. I understand that you cannot keep it a max speed for long as it overheats. But lets say you kept it at around 55mph, could you cruise at that consistently without overheating?
  • Insurance of a thousand pounds on top comes up when I looked into one of these. Twice in the last four years starting with the Surron scooter. Partnership insurance companies as well.
  • @DeFryskeVlogger
Just picked this bike up for 5000 euros. Which is, I guess, a good price.
