[Lore]... One hundred years ago, Hylians discovered the ancient relics of the Sheikah constructed ten thousand years prior, including the Guardians and the four Divine Beasts, used to protect the land of Hyrule. This discovery coincided with the prophecy about Ganon's return, thus King Rhoam and the people of Hyrule decided to create a group of warriors and protectors, namely, the Champions.

This video is created by using a range of tools to capture this environment in high definition. There's a combination of camera shots from around each major settlement in Hyrule. I have used a combination of layered sounds and techniques to improve the original game audio. Each area has its own individual rain tracks recorded over different surfaces such as wood planks or the ocean. Sounds from these location are reintroduced at a more fitting volume for instance the Kakariko chimes.

Hello, here's another remade video. It was fun creating the audio for this one, each place has its own rain sounds recorded over different surfaces like wood planks, rooftops or the ocean depending on the location. Anyway, enjoy the summer!
  • To the person reading this I am so grateful to share this world with you
  • I used to play this for my boy when I left the house, and I played it while he passed a few weeks ago. I will forever remember Zoras domain especially since that was the track playing, as my farewell to the very best companion, and friend I could have been blessed with in this life. I will smile cry every time I hear it, as I am utterly heartbroken without him, but so joyful that I had the time I did with him. May you run again Chief. Daddy will always love you.

Zora's Domain and Kakariko are my comfort towns (But Rito village has the best soundtrack imo), sometimes I wished we could've bought a house in Kakariko instead of Hateno
  • I remember when I first started playing botw, I swear, it was like so many new things opened up to me and I was so much happier bc I had something to distract me from the real would. The music always made me happy and going on little adventures and quests filled me with joy. I miss those times, but now every time I hear the music from this game it sends me back to those memories. I always feel happier when listening to this stuff and playing botw, I sadly can’t now tho bc of how busy I am with school and I lost my Nintendo Switch for the 1000th time- but I will always smile when I hear any of botws soundtracks bc damn it’s just really good, especially if it’s from Rito Village (that place was always my comfort village in botw).
  • zora's domain and rito village are like the most calming songs in the whole world

I played this during COVID shutdown while getting paid to be home. 5 months of pure happiness.

Zoras domain just hits different istg. Idk how or why..but everytime i gear the music i just wanna hug sidon so much. Like i feel bad for him losing his sister and somehow the music reminds me of Mipha. ❤😢

Me and my little brother used to beg my older brother to play Botw when it came out, we loved watching him play video games it’s kinda how we all connected. A while ago he moved out for college and it kind of hit me that I’ll never watch him play another video game again with my little brother and it really just hurts. While I could always ask him to it just wouldn’t be the same as him calling us from our room to go upstairs and then dashing up the stairs to see what happens next in all the worlds of Hyrule. He’s in England right now and I’m in Texas. I think my little brother secretly misses it too cause he’s always asking me to play video games for him to watch, even ones we already watched my brother play. I really really miss those days and I just hope one day we can watch him play for the very very last time before we officially grow up, or at least when I officially grow up since he already has. I miss you Dillon 💕
  • currently playing this in the background while I study for a final in Intermediate Algebra. Zelda makes the misery a little bearable.... Im a middle aged woman trying to go back to school.... man I wish I could just replay the game instead!
  • @thelynn6037
I like how each one has a different vibe, but all of them are calming

Show of hands for everyone who would move to Lurelin Village!
  • I have listened to this every day, all day at work for over a year
  • I got into BotW late. When covid hit, my depression hit hard and I had to take a year break from school. I got into BotW when I tried to come back to school the following year. I played it around the time I decided to delay my big PhD test another semester. And I was finishing the game around the time that my next semester was going poorly. I ended up leaving my PhD program. I'm grateful for the escapes I could have, including BotW. And remember kids, it's okay to choose a life you want instead of a life you're good at.
  • When I’m sad in BOTW, I always go to Kakariko Village or Zora’s Domain. I feel so calm and content just watching the Zora or the Kakariko villagers going about their business. Lurelin Village is also a favorite of mine, because it reminds me of where my family used to go on vacation. We haven’t gone there in four years, and the memories of the place are hazy but wonderful. This is the closest to seeing it again when I’m not there in person I will ever get. There is a reason that this game is rated so highly, it is because you really and truly feel at home in the villages after a long day’s work, just roaming the village and conversing with the villagers, or simply standing there admiring the sheer beauty of the village and Hyrule itself. BOTW will always be my favorite video game ever, and I don’t know what I would do without it.
  • I had a mini heart attack when it said the video was private, I've been listening to this video for 5 months while I do my calculus homework
  • I know I'm wearing my heart on my sleeve for this, but I know there are others who feel the same way and want to know they aren't alone. I'm a transman, and for my entire childhood I had always identified with Link the most out of any other characters in media (aside from Ash from pokemon and Gohan from DBZ) and BotW was such a breath of fresh air for me. I felt like I could really immerse myself into this world and truly, feel at peace with myself. Being able to lose myself and really feel like I was living in Hyrule as Link brought me so much comfort and helped me a lot with my dysphoria. When I'm feeling particularly dysphoric, I'll load it up on my switch and just ride on the trails, listen to the rain, take an odd quest, and I'll feel at home. For all my other gender queer folks out there who identify with Link, you're not alone, and it's okay to feel the need to escape into your transition goal fantasy. Be that person you want to be vicariously through other medias, video games included. I love you all.

Moment of sadness when it said video was private to moment of relief when it was remade! I literally play this all day everyday on repeat, I'm not ready to lose it :( Thank you so much for sharing this content!
