let me leave my story of how i realized i was bisexual. it was 8th grade, there was this girl in my class and we’ve been in the same class for 3 years now. she was the kind of girl who everyone loved, not only boys. she had a lovely face. chocolatey skin, so soft and smelled amazing. dark brown wavy hair and such a small nose. let me just say, she was moana. even more beautiful. i always thought that i sevretly hated her. when she had to sit next to me one time, i didn’t get near her. i could smell the freshness and the british garden when she simply sat next to me. i felt like a ogre next to her so i wanted her to leave but i also didn’t. so i thought “oh i guess i am jealous of how mesmerizing and popular she is”. i never thought i liked her in that kind of way. we were taught to hate the LGBTQ+, which i never quite understood. but whenever she got up to answer a question (gosh she was smart..) i would pay attention and smile when she got it right. anyways, let me fast forward. our teacher set us free and it was the last period. she was chatting with her friend group when i realised she had period blood on her pants. i leaned into her ear and warned her about it, she nodded her head while looking into my eyes. the most beautiful eyes.. like bambi’s.. when she got back from the restroom she softly grabbed my arm, allowing me to feel her soft skin, leaned into my ear, i could smell her amazing scent. it was not a perfume i am sure. just her. she thanked me and smiled. that’s when i felt that feeling. it was so much more intense than ever before. it all made sense after that. i had an online friend and i told him about it. told him all of the signs. how when i watch a show, i always like the girls better. how when we see a couple with my friends they all say “he is so handsome” but i say “he doesn’t deserve her. did you see how beautiful she is?”. how she made me feel that day. i never got to tell this to anyone, but here. no one will probably see this but who cares. i got it out of my chest.

i feel so bittersweet reading the comments of younger girls talking about their school crush or dates, because on one hand i feel so happy for them because they get to experience all these things more freely because people are getting more accepting, but on the other hand i think how i didn't get to experience any of that. i had poor mental health all troughout highschool, had really bad social anxiety and therefore wasn't able to make many friends and i was struggling with figuring out my sexuality since i had pretty bad internalised homophobia (but also i lived in a homophobic envirionment as well). all i knew was basically getting drunk at parties and making out with random guys, feeling completely numb. i graduated just a couple years ago so i'm not that old and the wound is still open, but i think i'll make it someday. but i'm so happy that now kids at school get to live their queerness in a more positive way. thanks for this playlist :)
