I don't believe the truck drivers will be out of jobs. There is a bottomless potential for commerce in all sections of India and our country is just in the 2nd gear towards realizing our commerce potential. As soon as the DFCs are made more companies and industries would come up and start using whatever transportation mode they get their hands on. I think we might have to double up the rail line in both the WDFC and EDFC pretty soon in some years as the tracks would be running on full capacity.

I have personally seen the WDFC from haryana to rajasthan section as it runs parallelly to normal network it was also efficient for passengers as it reduced the traffic on normal route by much this is already a success Update: I went again on the same route and also saw the bullet train project under construction India is literally becoming a railway super power
