What If The Nightmare Before Christmas Characters Were Pokémon Trainers?

Happy Halloween, everybody, and welcome to this video about The Nightmare Before Christmas and Pokemon! This is one that I'd always meant to do after the character arc video I did about Jack Skellington sometime back, and since today is Halloween, it just felt like the perfect time, haha. I wanna try and get another video ready for the time my birthday rolls around in two weeks from today (November 14th), and I've got a couple of ideas rattling around in my head, so be on the lookout for that. After that, depending on how I'm feeling about things, I might try to get another video done before the release of the Pokemon Scarlet/Violet Indigo Disc DLC (which I'll be doing a Let's Play of like I did with the Teal Mask one and I'm certain will be coming out before too long), but if I don't, then the Indigo Disc LP will be the next thing after that presumed video on my birthday, for sure. There’s a reason why so many people were saying they’d name their Greavard Zero when it was revealed (even though I personally prefer Polterpup, but details). Also while I unfortunately missed out on actual Halloween due to working a night shift, there was a costume contest, and I went as my usual: “Sans is Ness”.

This is my favorite series that you do; I appreciate someone who can bring Pokemon into anything. I've started assigning Pokemon teams for characters in other series that I like, as well as my own original characters, and when I think of how to describe the characters and introduce their teams, I hear your voice doing the lines in my head. I didn't have any special Halloween things to go to this year, so I just put on my cutest, pinkest dress and rosiest jewelry and said I was Barbie. Also, regarding your end joke, some states are ahead of the game and replacing Columbus Day with Indigenous Peoples Day, and I 'm just a tiny bit optimistic that we can make that happen on a federal level someday. On a related note, did you know that Disneyland in California re-themes its Haunted Mansion ride to The Nightmare Before Christmas every Halloween? I don't know when they started doing that, but I've seen some on-ride footage of it, and it's pretty impressive.

Giving jack greavard is adorable, but I was actually thinking more on the lines of houndstone since well…it’s a skeleton dog.
