You gotta remember how he grew up, and how namby pamby and politically correct this world has become.
  • Even if he was prejudice that doesnt make him an evil man.I enjoyed his acting especially in the Real McCoys.

It’s always a bad idea to paint a person’s character from yesterday with today’s brush.

Great family man and ledendary actor. Active in Republican politics, no reason for hate.

How is he EVIL? You also forgot 'The Guns of Will Sonnet"
  • He had his opinion based on his growing up in that era. He had his values not necessarily evil, only to a leftist viewpoint.

WE ALL HAVE OUR QUIRKS, NOT TO DISMISS MISTAKES , BUT TO MATURE IN THEM. WALTER WAS GREAT ON THE SCREEN AND TRULY CONTRIBUTED TO HIS CRAFT. TRULY MISS HIM.

You accused him of being evil, but you give no examples !

If he saw what we've become he'd roll in his grave.
  • His views on LBJ were exact and the end of morality in schools was the end of faith being taught in schools! Terrible listing for a bio.
  • Ultimately, his story prompts viewers to consider how we reconcile the achievements of public figures with the less savory aspects of their character.

Nothing at all evil about this guy. Seems like a great Patriot to me. There is a lot of racial assumptions being spewed here. Telling the truth about what's going on doesn't make you evil, it makes you a realist. We can use more Walter Brennans.
