  • Cleaned my whole house just to spite you. It took 8 hours and now I'm even more unhappy.
  • My dude literally explained my life without missing the tiniest detail
  • This guy helped me more in 6 minutes than my therapist did in 3 years!
  • @brwngator
    Instructions unclear: Bought a boat.
  • @user-dz9gt3hr1m
I just realized I've done all of this without even studying. What a natural born sailor I am

"Be well informed, while doing nothing." This hits a little too hard.
  • Watched this video a couple of month ago - fixed my sleep cycle, started doing my work in the library not my room, set realistic measurable, started exercising more and stopped worrying so much about things I couldn't change. I'm quite happy and am feeling a lot better than I was before - thanks for the video. I think portraying it as 'do this to maximise sadness' rather than 'don't do this to be happy' makes the message a lot more palatable and lets it sink in easier

This video made me clean my entire apartment, and feel immense satisfaction about it. 0/10, I want my money back.
  • Some more pointers: true misery doesn’t come from constantly torturing yourself. Your brain will adapt to anything as long as it’s consistent. Feed it just enough hope to have its longings crushed every so often and you’ll never feel a moment’s reprieve.

Me: wow this video is a huge wake up call Also me: keeps watching youtube
  • 0:20 #1 live a sedentary lifestyle and don't go outside much. 0:57 #2 Have an irregular sleep cycle for example never be consistent with your waking and sleeping time. 1:50 3# Maximus your screen time. 2:30 4# Feel anxiety and fear over things you have no control or influence over, being well informed while doing nothing and if you decide to contribute make sure it's meaningless. The things you care about could be a reason to leave your house and take meaningful connections with the people around you. 3:26 #5 To reach goals they must be Specific, Measurable, Actionable, Responsible, Time-Bounded.Instead set your brain on V.A.P.I.D. goals which stands for Vague, Amorphous, irrelevant, pie in the sky, delayed.Make the goal and path unclear.if you have motivation set unrealistic goals.Try to achieve the goal whenever you want don't set deadlines. With vapid goals you will turn the productive part of your brain from a dangerous source of self-improvement that rewards every small step into a consistent nag that brates you for your failure to have already accomplished your goal every step of the way. 4:45 #6 Pursue happiness directly instead of letting it happen to you naturally. 5:23 #7 Always follow your instincts.
  • Wow this is literally me. This has been me for the past 5 years, hadn't watched the video before but yeah, definitely recommended method to feel more miserable and just get to the realization that this is how your life will keep being and you can't do anything about it bc you are an absolute failure that doesn't have an ounce of willpower, and even when others try to help you you reject them 👍
  • @derkderkin1175
I can cross "get personally attacked" off my to-do list for today.
  • Thanks a lot for making this video. Before I was a really happy person, but after watching this and following all of your steps, I feel much worse! Great video!
  • i think the condecending, sarcastic, hurtful tone of this single handedly cured my depression its been a week i feel so much better fr
