Videos like this make me realize just how far behind the curve I am when it comes to using electronics to make music. And I don't mean an electric keyboard. I mean whatever it is he's using to loop the beats and chord patterns. I've programmed keyboards and drum machines before but not "on the fly" like in this video. It's a helluva lotta fun that's for sure!

Dear teacher I need your help please. I am a music teacher at a middle school in Santiago, Chile. I worked as a teacher for more than 33 years and took advantage of the fact that I had some money to buy a second-hand Ewi4000s, about four months ago. I tried to change the sounds with the official program of this instrument. But it doesn't work because my computer is a 64 bit Windows 7. Searching the web I found your page and I discovered in it that there is another Linux program to change the sounds, the Ewitool. Those who do not understand that to make this change, the first step of the video you published must have a bookstore. Are there free sounds on the web that I can use? Or if the Kontak program can be used for free or does it have to be paid for? Thank you very much for your collaboration, I will be very grateful. A hug from Chile.
