Long ago on the faraway planet known as as Cybertron, a race of autonomous robotic life forms waged a civil war without end. Two factions rose among the ashes and fought for an artifact of unspeakable power that gave life to their race: the AllSpark. The Autobots, sworn to protect and preserve the AllSpark, battled heroically and honorably against the treacherous and dangerous Decepticons, who desired the power of the AllSpark for their evil, ulterior ways. The war between the two raged on, and in a final act of sacrifice, the Autobots sent the AllSpark into the deepest depths of space, where it would remain hidden for many years on a remote planet called Earth. With the whereabouts of the AllSpark now known, the forces of good and evil gather once again to battle for the AllSpark, and the war that started on Cybertron will be finished on Earth.
