What if Mario vs. Donkey Kong game had a Sega Genesis/Mega Drive port in 2004? - Nimaginendo 2024

What if the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive had been strong until 2004 to have a port of "Mario vs. Donkey Kong"? It would be something like that. My animation isn't completely perfect, because I don't fully understand the limitations of the Sega Genesis but I did something limited as well. This animation was made to celebrate the game's 20th anniversary, originally released in 2004 for the Game Boy Advance (or GBA as many call it).

I recreated some sounds, ripped sprites and recolored them, tried to recreate the music (with the exception of the title theme song which is the midi from the VG Music website), sounds from the new Mario vs. Donkey Kong on Switch and GBA were converted to a sound rate similar to that of the Genesis. And I adapted some things. The cuts in the intro scenes were necessary to simulate the limitation.

And as a thank you for playing my projects and for continuing to follow me, I bring you news about the projects: "Super Mario Wonderland" and "Super Mario Bros. Wonder For Classic Players" but I'll let you follow these strong emotions in the video. Steelbill is more vengeful than ever!

Until the next post or video! And stay tuned to the Nimaginendo Games channel.

This was a non-profit work made to show what a game would be like on another console, made for pure fun and entertainment. The characters are owned by Nintendo and the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive is owned by Sega. This game never happened on the console!

  • Amazing! - Can You Make A What if Mario vs. Donkey Kong game had a Super Nintendo/Super Famicom port, Pleased.

It's been a good while since I've seen anything Mega Drive related that resemble those half-baked bootlegs.
