Once you start listening to JP there's no stopping midway no matter how long the lectures.

The wife introducing him is so lovely. I mean. Amazing to see the core of family representing even at the forefront of a lecture

I was here for this event in Dublin. Sat near the front, on your left hand side. I have followed you for many years now, Dr Peterson. I simply can not put into words the ways in which you have changed my life for the better. It is through your words and your attempts to convey the truth that has allowed me to pursue it in my own right. I know in your humility you would deflect my admiration and point it towards the great thinkers that came before you. However, it is you, here and now, that has affected all of us here and the culture at large. We are blessed to have you. Stayed blessed sir.

I'm nowhere near as sophisticated, educated or intelligent as Dr. Peterson, but, I can't help but feel that I already know some of the things he says from a social perspective but can never put it into words until he says them. Truly a gift to my mental being.
  • Without Jordan Peterson I would have never realized how pathetic I was, and who's job it was to change. Hope and God feeds the soul I didn't realize I had. Thank you
  • @matimous1
once again, you are a world wide, generational gift for humanity

Being the pompous atheist thru my esrly 20s then finding JP and understanding the world/society/meaning/trends/etc all thru the lense he views the world. I get it now, not to mention the change in my own life - going from living with my mom at 27, 20hr job, sleeping with a new girl every other day. To now 32 having a family, wife, and a daughter, along with a career as a union iron worker making 2x more than I was just 3 years ago. Thank you Jp. Thank you, for everything.

Watching this on Youtube, I started crying when he mentioned the example of being at a music concert and someone comes up to you and says, "you know this is going to end, right?" I've been struggling with suicidal thoughts for the past year, and depression for much, much longer than that. My sense of self worth has eroded over many years, losing weight is really difficult, and made all the more so because I stress-eat. As a really little kid, I remember always loving life, and these days I struggle to find anything worth really enjoying. I got in to the Food Industry right out of highschool because I hated learning, in highschool, and just wanted a way to apply myself rather than talk about theoreticals and math equations that 90% of us students would never use. I hope Jordan Peterson's words can touch others like it does me, and at least start a spark of life in us as a society again.

It's been 3 years since I first heard about this man. I've gone through so many of his lectures and one lecture I remember distinctly was the "Take up a responsibility and carry your cross" "As pathetic as you are, at least you can show the world that you are carrying a cross on your shoulder" Looking back at it now, it's been quite a journey. Finally moving forward with life and working towards a goal instead indulging in pointless pleasures in life. Thanks JP.
  • Just clicked on Jordan's channel, and saw a new video 40 second old! What a treat❤❤❤

  • You have helped me more than you could ever know Dr peterson 💚

As a black man that can't identify with his own community I appreciate the video. What depresses me the most is the way any type of people blame their depression on race. Grow up black man!
  • @Jordy_NL
Just the energy of the crowd and the introduction by Tammy Peterson and the coming on stage of dr. Peterson was already great to watch.

  • I see posts on twitter of parents that can't understand why their children won't stop playing video games and won't leave the house. When they ask the kids they seem happy and don't understand there's a problem. The parents don't understand why their kids don't want to work or have a girlfriend or a car or a life. They can't get a job and move out and be an adult they're perpetually trapped in childhood. They want to sit in a room and look at a computer screen. It's the weight of the world and the lack of real dreams. Lack of real goals in life. The room is safe. The computer can be controlled and choices can be made. It ends up being enough for them and they don't recognize the problem. Millions of people are trapped in this hell.
