Both the police and the secret service trying to claim they didn't notice the dude carrying an AR-15 is a joke, it's not like they're a concealed carry firearm.
  • The secret service can delegate tasks to other law enforcement agencies but not responsibility for this blunder.

When she goes in front of committee lets guess how many times she say's, "I cannot comment on that. It's an ongoing investigation".

Cheatle: The buck stops here! Also Cheatle: It's the sheriff's fault.

"....the Secret Service is not an intelligence agency". That appears to be true.
  • @kitsune303
Cheatle said "the buck stops with me" and finishes that sentence by blaming the local LEOs. What a cheap Blue Falcon move!

Her previous experience was at Pepsi. If she had worked at Coke, none of this would have happened.

What’s funny is how there is multiple accounts of people telling the police there’s someone on the roof 🤔🤔

You can't really say he evaded them when like 10 people pointed him out to them. He didn't evade them, he was ignored by them

I was a public safety officer in a community where a major party presidential candidate and his running mate held a rally. I haven't spoken about it in a public forum before, but it was several election cycles ago, and if procedures hadn't changed since then, I'm sure they will now. I was stunned by how little preparation there was. Of course, I wasn't privy to the details, and I'm sure there were precautions taken without my knowledge. A secret service agent met with my chief the day before the rally, but apart from that there seemed to be no agents on site until an hour or two before the event. The speeches took place in an auditorium. I worked the night shift right before the rally, and so far as I know, I was the only one who was watching the place. Nobody ever interviewed me or the other members of my department. In fact, one of the guys in my department had expressed a desire to harm one of the speakers. I was pretty sure he was joking, but if the secret service had asked me if anyone had made such a threat, I would have had to have said yes. I'm sure they swept the building before the candidate arrived, but there were a lot of places where you could hide a weapon or a device. I kept an eye on the building, but so far as I know, nobody ever kept an eye on me, or even checked to make sure I was harmless. I was just one person, and I was also responsible for responding to medical calls and so on, so it would have been easy to gain access to the building without my knowledge. The whole thing was just one of those experiences where you realize life isn't like television. The real world is way less put together than you think it is.

The security plan was so incompetent, it smells really bad.

Imagine the cops inside looking at each other when they hear shots, "I thought you were watching the roof. I thought you were!"
  • @888Longball
Cops hanging out in the building eating donuts.

The Secret Service is overseen by the Dept of Homeland Security, the same agency that manages our southern border. It is led by Alejandro Mayorkas who recently survived an impeachment vote in Congress. Think on that for awhile.

In the Age of DRONES, HOW, HOW, HOW is this even possible ? Come on, enough is enough. A true image of what USA has become!
  • @kennethng8346
I am 99 percent sure of the responses from the head of the SS: "I can not comment on an active investigation".
  • @m.webber5118
They have a huge budget, but can’t afford a $400 drone?
  • @patriot388
The more you look at this the more it is either incompetence or deliberate! 🙄
