No one will ever convince me otherwise. I don’t care what some claim- that man truly loved Jinx as his daughter. He didn’t have to take her in. He held little Powder in his arms and accepted her as she was- a little girl who needed him. He saw his pain in her; her feelings of betrayal and abandonment mirrored his own. He wanted to heal her, save her. He didn’t benefit from this ‘adoption.’ He didn’t have to give her support. He didn’t have to treat her with respect. He didn’t have to put his full trust in her. And he did NOT mold her. The worst things he did was not guide her to the “right path” since he saw nothing wrong with her and bringing her back to life because he didn’t want to lose her. Even when she shot him, he smiled and told her she was perfect. He comforted her as he died. No anger. Just love and forgiveness.
