  • She did it. She was lit on fire, and was quite literally being put to death, but she still didn't believe in putting the man who did it do death as well. She passed a law to save other victims, knowing it would not save her case, and yet she still did everything she could to help. With every single second of her life from then on, she fought everything. being in a coma, suffering burns, probably many organ failures though I am not going to look for it, she died 7 times, and kept fighting. And in the end, she did it. I am not embarrassed to say I cried. I do not feel weak for shedding tears. I feel empowered by Judy's sheer will to live. I feel loved simply from thinking of Judy. I may never have known her, but Judy will forever help me. So many people stay strong despite all odds against them. I hold these people in my heart. I may not change the world, I may not live a significant life, I may not effect much. But for what it's worth, I still try. I may not be an amazing person well known for anything. But that will never stop me from doing amazing things. Again, I never knew Judy, But with what I can do, I will fight to help her cause. I may not have much money to donate, But I have all the words my breath can say. We all do. No matter how quiet you feel, No matter what stands in your way, You can still say something. Not all of us can say something literally, But all of us can sure as hell say something with our actions. We all can say something. Even if you try and fail, The fact that tried in the first place says all it needs to say. If you try to help, your trying is enough. Not all of us are strong enough to climb the whole metaphorical staircase, Not all of us are strong enough to even set foot on the first step. But all of us have strength in one way or another to lift our feet and try. So next time I look up at the flight I have to climb, I'll just look at the first step and think of Judy. I've already climbed some steps, and I know I will climb many more. And with every step I take, I have even more reason to keep climbing. I am so proud of Kaylyn, of Madison, of Bonnie, of David, of Danielle, of Patrick, of Dan, of Sue, of Nicholas, of Joseph, of Mark, of Patricia, of her family, and I am so very truly proud of Judy. Stay awesome, stay kind, and take a few sips of water. You deserve it, every single one of you. <3
  • Someone trafficking marijuana gets 25 years, dousing a woman with gasoline and setting her on fire, ruining multiple lives and trying to kill someone... 11 years. evil world we live in.
  • @Andy246.
This had me in tears. Judy coming off painkillers to testify was one of the most courageous things I've ever heard. What a woman.
  • @jamesethan3749
Arson? 11 years? Am I the only one wondering why he was not charged with ATTEMPTED MURDER?…….
  • @makenaj634
I’m not religious but hearing her mom say “ok I’ll take your hand and hope Jesus takes the other” just made me tear up
  • @missmoth2588
How the hell was it, not attempted murder? Before she passed away? That monster should never be free again!
  • @Zippo_Allstar
My Sister died four hours ago after being driven over and shot by her boyfriend when I saw this video I found some kind of hope. She suffered 21 days.

I stood in fire 3 times trying save my 13 yr old daughter her seatbelt was stuck. I couldn't save her ...that's the hardest battle ever fighting for your life with such a broken heart... How sick of the defense to try to silence a dead woman.
  • @taylorjoshd
The mother telling Judy, "I'll hold your hand until Jesus takes the other", was the sweetest, most heart wrenching thing I've ever heard...
  • That "man" with all the VIOLENT offenses he had prior, why in the hell was he even walking the streets???
  • @akijinchan
Hearing her say "it hurts so bad" just broke me, what a warrior
  • @Michael-id9bw
Unfortunately, a lot of the time you can judge a book by its cover. This dude looked like bad news.
  • @jonnyd4306
I'm a 45 year old grown man and this had me shedding tears like crazy. I have a 19 year old son and a 16 year old daughter, and I can't begin to fathom the pain Judy and her family experienced. Rest in Paradise Judy.
  • @millsmami
I hate that people are conditioned to think "being strong" means not crying/breaking down. You can be strong and overwhelmed at the same time. She wasnt weak for crying, she was overwhelmed..and still remained strong.
  • If it was an accident, he wouldn't have poured the fuel on her in the first place. What a monster. My adopted daughter was murdered by kerosene. Her estranged husband dumped it on her head & lit her. She didn't survive, leaving behind 2 small children.
  • this woman is amazing - she got addicted, knew her kids shouldn’t see that, admit HERSELF to rehab and SURVIVED BEING LIT ON FIRE. wow i wish nothing but happiness for her and her family and kids
  • @justlori312
I suffer from Venous Stasis Insufficiency. This means the blood in my legs does not circulate as it should and causes open wounds to develop. In 2014, both legs had to be surgically debribed. The pain was similar to burns because my skin was scraped almost to the bone. It was the worst pain I ever felt. As I look at Judy, with burns all over her body, the agony she had to be in is incomprehensible to anyone. This young lady, was a warrior beyond words. She fought torturous pain to be able to tell the truth. Rest Peacefully in Paradise Judy. No one will ever hurt you again. ❤❤❤
