“Do you write with your own hand?” “Well I can’t write any other way.”

She was on a walkabout and went into a shop, where the clerk said: 'You look just like the Queen.' She responded: 'How reassuring.'

I’m not British but even I felt that the world got a little bit darker when she died, there was just something about her that always made me smile whenever I saw her on TV. She will be missed.

'Did you write it with your own hand?' 'Oh yes...I can't write any other way' Brilliant.😂

Those dogs are the only ones to get away with breaking royal protocol, and jumping on The Queen.
  • Death: exists The queen: “imma bout to end this mans whole career”
  • She had a good sense of humor. My father literally bumped into her on a beach on an island on the west of Scotland. She was in wellies and her headscarf. Not in the least put out, they chatted for a bit. Only as she was walking away did my father realise.
  • I have always been delighted to see her love of animals displayed on so many occasions. I have the sense she loved these animals so dearly because they didn’t see her as a queen, but as a friend.🐕🐶🐴🐎

I've lived through 7 Popes and 13 U.S. Presidents, but only One Queen.

No-one: Queen: drops item Me: tries to reach through the screen to pick it up for her
  • There has never been a day in my life where The Queen was not around. And now that she’s gone, for some reason, it feels almost empty. I know many people have their different views on her, some good, and some bad. But you have to admit, that being the reigning monarch for 70 years, not many of us lived a day without her as Queen. Until now. And it ultimately just feels strange. She really started deteriorating after Prince Philip passed, and I just hope that wherever she is now, that she is with him again. I’ll really miss her sassiness and humour!

She was always calm, collected, yet animated and engaging all at the same time. A magical lady
  • A friend of mine was once a guard at Buckingham Palace. He guarded the interior grounds. One particularly dark night, he heard a noise which prompted him to step forward and ask: "Who goes there?" To which a rather gentle female voice replied: "One queen and 3 Corgis." 🤣😆🤣

can you imagine how iconic would her instagram account be?

I’ve felt oddly emotional these past few days after her passing. 70 years of incredible dedication. Thank you, ma’am 🇬🇧

The utter joy on her face when her horse won the Gold Cup is something I had to watch multiple times. Brilliant!
  • @lexijdae
The woman who plays her in the one Netflix tv show sounds exactly like her. It’s insane
  • @Sunflower_vally
Minester: hello. Are you well? The queen: thankyou very much - well, I'm still alive 😂😂😂
  • Gotta say as an American, not only was she a beauty her entire life, she was very funny/charming as well, hadn't watched much on her over the years, had no idea her sense of humor was so great. R.I.P 🌹🇬🇧
  • @stopbunsen
She was actually quite sassy and loved to laugh and could hold her own and banter with everyone around her
