So, Anna Trebunskaya and I finally created a collab video! 💃🎸 #SunsetSessions video from our roof. We were feeling #80s #vibes with all the pastels in that stunning #sunset.
We did it a month or so ago during quarantine for a charity called Project Orphans for a contest they were having to support their nonprofit. It was fun to shoot and create together, but it was windy AF that evening! 💨 And a bit chilly too, not sure how I got Anna to agree to that outfit, but she looks 🔥🔥🔥 Love her #FreestyleDance #rooftop #dance 😍
Video was directed by me, #shotoniPhone and a dslr - and yes, we randomly caught a #firework in the background of one of the shots! 🎆😲 As many of you know, people all over have been doing #fireworks (at least in 2020), and this was just one of those happy accidents caught on film!
Managing all the technical difficulties of shooting was a new challenge - I wish we had a blooper reel for how many times the camera blew over and the microphone malfunctioned (if anyone has any suggestions on a better microphone to shoot this kind of stuff solo, please lmk 🙏🏽), as was playing #guitar with fingers freezing and Anna jumping all over me, haha 🤣 So THIS is why they prerecord the music first and then shoot to the #music playback instead of doing it all live 🤪!
