The lao quest is probably my favorite quest in that game. Does it take forever? Yes. Is it a good fight? Nah not really. But the theme playing as I fire the dragonator into the massive mountain dragon, in defense of an entire city just PUMPS ME UP. And I’m so glad they brought that back for the final phase of fatalis in iceborne

I trained in MHFU before coming straight to World and basically solo'd everything in the game, giving me the mindset and skills to solo everything in World before using an SoS for efficient hunting, no matter how difficult it was, even Fatalis i killed solo first time. World is my playground, but Pokke is my hometown.

I remember when I got this game I was just a child waiting for my mum to pay for stuff we wanted at the game store, and then I saw this game on the shelf and I liked the cover art for it, little did I know it would be pretty much the only game I would ever play on my PSP again.

I remembered playing this on my psp, and Longsword despite not being as complex was the good example of there is beauty in simplicity. And remembered getting to Yian Garuga before my memory stick became corrupted and all of the files were unreadable.

That last shot on the snowy mountain top looking up at the beautiful night sky with colorful constellations hits me right in the feels, Tiger! MHFU is where I started out, too! How warm and lovely is pokke Village theme, it truly feels like home. Some times Just hearing that theme makes me go back to play MHFU.

I could've sworn World was more controversial than Rise. What with "dumbing" down the game with changes to the game. Though granted every new game, regardless of the series, will be the most controversial. I also like World too. :)

Something I loved about the psp titles is how good the visuals hold up. I don't mean to bicker on the ds/wiiu games but their colors seemeda little too saturated for me

Tigrex made me shit my pants. Rathalos made me retire, my hands would literally start shaking and sweating so much that I had to abandon the quest mid-fight. I literally exclusively hunted Dromes, Yian-kut-kut and Congalas for almost an entire year because of that.. It's really funny looking back at how I was back then.

The pokke village theme is so soothing. No matter if I succeed in a hunt or not I still feel welcomed in the village.
