In this video, Susan and I shares our experience visiting Manipur, particularly Ukhrul and my village which is close to the Myanmar border. We have not been meet our family in more than 3 years.
Susan learn how to dry the rice grain in the sun that came out of the store room and I learn how to break firewood from my dad. We were also give a chicken as a gift from our neighbors.

Ukhrul/Hunphun is a town in the state of Manipur, India. Ukhrul is the home of the Tangkhul Naga. It is the administrative headquarter of the Ukhrul district. There are also four sub-divisions in the district for administering the villages in and around it. The villages, however, are governed by the 'village heads.

Love you guys from Mizoram ❣️two humble couples and a very down to earth 🌍 person …stay safe …our saviour lord Jesus Christ be with you🙏
  • this video reminds me of my younger days when we used to go to my father's home in the village during the holidays, we had to do everything by ourselves ,starting from husking the rice, fetching firewood, cleaning the cowshed and everything, it was like home schooling. Sugar and salt were the only household things my dad used to buy. The rest we got from our fields and farms. The food taste so good ,all pure and organic. I really miss those days spent in the village. Those were the days and I am so fortunate to have such experiences as a part of my life and Susan , being a foreigner, its so beautiful and inspiring to see you trying to get adapted to a village life which you have never dreamt of in your life. You are doing a wonderful job, hats off to both of you. God bless.

Awesome video. Almost couldn't watch how close your dad's foot was to the ax!!! But I guess he is very experienced! Living in the village is hard work... Really appreciate everyone there! And the generosity of people there always blows my mind. Thanks for sharing with us.
